@Leo Gura , loving your Instagram videos, 3 minute chunks is generous for today's attention span. About your post of the degradation of social media, do you think that you're Instagram post will funnel people into your deeper work or do you think it just becomes another piece of content that people scroll through and don't see the value of? Because it is quite a paradox how you're using the zombie machine to try to awaken people from it because Instagram is engineered to keep people from using their minds. I'm curious as to how you're navigating this. Do you think that no matter how good the content is it inevitably gets diluted by Instagram or do you think there is value in it no matter what? Because you're not dumbing your vocabulary down especially on Instagram most people don't have a philosophical and existential framework for understanding reality that a lot of these terms fall on deaf ears or even worse ideological and dogmatic ears. People hear you use the word god, intelligence, love and consciousness and they don't even have a reference as to what you're talking about and can easily misinterpret every word you say

@Leo Gura will you make a video on this topic in the future? The world of Mental health and Disorders is so important and fascinating, what is schizophrenia, ect??? It makes me question my own mental health and my own experiences when trying to look at what's going on with someone that has a disorder. It goes back to the question, what is consciousness? This question goes so deep especially in the world of understanding Mind. Also psychedelics, they produce these mental states or do they merely draw out what is already there? Hallucinations, and psychosis, why do psychedelics put one in states that can be interpreted as mental disorders? It can be frightening for someone having a strong trip that feels psychotic but an extremely expanded state of consciousness but you know you can't tell someone, especially a psychiatrist because they will tell you that you are having a episode and put you on drugs ironically.

Some insights from contemplating: There is a spectrum for all the possible sets of mental disorders and illness. Mental Disorders is a blanket terminology that generalizes any particular kind, combinations and rate of all the different kinds of mental stability. By definition, a mental disorder, characteristic traits, or a mental illness can be caused by basically two factors: genetics, and a very underdeveloped psychology/ ego development. It can be triggered by trauma as a way of coping with the parts of yourself that were fragmented as a defense mechanism. There are very different kinds of ways an ego can fracture especially during critical stages and phases of a person's development, like infancy -toddler-child-teen-adult. If you look into the development and state of consciousness of someone with borderline personality disorder, they experience a strong fear and reaction to any form of abandonment, they have a fragile sense of self, a. Lack of self reflection and they experience emotions as whole realities. There is no sense of object permanence. Study the psychology of various mental illness from experts in the field like Dr ramani durvasula PhD, lise labanc, especially in the context of relationships. Also someone with narcissism, BPD don't have a solid sense of self which if you get a hit on it, is quite sad. Because they don't experience a stable sense of self like you possibly do, it's not nothingness like the void of enlightenment, it's a nothing where there should have been a a stable healthy ego that gets solidified during the critical points throughout a babies life, but for some reason it got stuck before a healthy secure ego can form.

Technically I grew up on the border of millennials and Gen z era, but I didn't grow up with a tablet and I didn't get a phone till the end of high school, I grew up spending time socializing with friends in real time, played sports, basketball, skateboarding, and boxing. I started reading osho, Alan Watts and very advanced self-help and metaphysical books in high school while everyone was on their phones, so I could genuinely connect with people but at the same time I fell like an outsider, A witness. I could step into people's reality bubbles and not get married to one paradigm and at the same time I can understand their worldview and the logics of it but I couldn't stay stuck in it, this simultaneously made me feel a little alone. Some examples of this gen z culture that we live in. •short attention span •tiktok for info and education •irony as communication and shallow condensed use of vocabulary for expressing feelings •not caring as value signaling •numbness Come up with more examples, what do you notice? I don't claim to be special or above it, I just noticed it and I want to become aware of it more because in a sense I want to extricate myself from this. If I didn't know something or wanted to learn a topic, I will go to Great lengths to read books on it to read articles on it and to cross reference things and sources, but now people will just go on tiktok, it's kind of lazy if I'm being honest.

Do you have any more resources, books and recommendations to further deepen my understanding. You can pm me if you want, I really want to touch those higher stages, watch for self deception and reassure myself especially at the construct aware stage, it can be disorienting and quite lonely
