Dating apps are so skewed because mostly men are on them anyways. It's just the path of least resistance so of course people will take them even less seriously. Any pilled videos that reference dating apps honestly need to touch grass, it's giving a narrow perspective. I think it becomes a toxic trap with guys that are chronically online. If they buy into the 20% narrative- then they've got a toxic idea imprinted in them before even going out into the world. They'll make assumptions off faulty data.

Well, it sort of just opens the flood gates ay! Because a lot of these places are created with specific intentions in mind. They want to discuss and share already popular/quality media. It's frustrating to you, because you don't have as many places to sell/promote. Understandable! But if it were allowed, it wouldn't just be you doing so.. A rush of self-promoters would rush in and it would be a nuisance to the majority that just want to lurk/discuss already known content! From the raw numbers of it, most of the promotion will be pretty bad! Maybe a few diamonds in the rough.. but mostly cheeks, and it'll take time to sort through it all. Would be nice if things had more flexibility though. If there were more avenues to promote and get feedback! To discover new things from lesser known artists. Also because sucking or even being half-decent but not quite there is a very important phase!

Continue asking people how they perceive you when you're having social interactions with them. Their answers might surprise you and shift your OWN self-perception. Because it was definitely YOU thinking that, not THEM. Also, no need to wait for trauma therapy completely. Ya never know when your therapist will be a dud and there's lots of relevant info a typical therapy session won't cover. I definitely recommend checking out resources on your own and reading books if you haven't already. If you'd like some immediate recommendations, Jordan provided roughly 80% of the books I've read on my trauma healing journey. Super helpful and absolute gem of a channel! ALSO should you start dating, PREPARE YOURSELF! A lot of shit will come up. It will, to an extent, be a hot mess. That's okay and it'll hurt like hell but its all part of the process.
