  1. What's the point of Video Games? I hunt for the most unique games ever created, highest quality. But eventually I get disappointed after playing them. One, because I'm learning Environment Art, so I'm desensitized to games in general. Two, I have too much expectations from games as a medium, a place where real growth is possible. And last but not the least, the culture of video games industry is so mindless. All of these are totally not my values. My top 3 values being Awareness, Mastery and Integrity. I have made it a point that I do what I feel like. Nothing more nothing less, and if I'm feeling any resistance to doing something I want, there's work I gotta do. This post is part of that work. Lately I have been thinking how a small fraction of the population can afford to play AAA Games. And much less enjoy it. If games are more than what they are today, they will be priced 10x higher. Imagine a game which can actually help you grow. Making the accessibility even sparce. My expectations for games are on that level. Entertainment through games is fine, but I think games can do a far better job entertaining than how it is going on today. I'm totally against anything compromised. The current way games have manifested is through being a means for escapism, addiction, guilt of not doing well in life. Life is far more exciting, simply existing is enough reason to rejoice. Naturally, I don't get one bit excited about games these days. I just feel like most games are just wasting my quality of life(I'm talking about the most awesome games I handpicked) This boredom for games is a common thing about those who work in the industry. It's hypocrisy on another level. The ultimate test for a good video game is, whether it's creator can get lost playing the game he created, can he immerse himself in it and get addicted to it? Any new perspective on this is appreciated. I'm just wondering where games can end up, and how can it actually be useful beyond this simple entertainment and escapism. Such that playing games is considered something good, like working out.
  2. "Tomorrowland" I have been having this vision in the back of my mind for quite some time now. A world where karma is the only currency. You enjoy the fruits of everything you do, also you're not supposed to do anything either. This is also an imperfect world, because karma isn't real either at stage Turquoise, also societal(collective) karma is almost nullified, nobody is forced to do anything. This world here isn't interested in hoarding anything, people are free to do anything, but alone. The goal is that one doesn't interfere or even passively impact the other. There is no need to earn money, or even contribute to the society, you can live a perfectly good life, doing nothing. Infact doing nothing is the norm, it is the best thing to do. Activity is neither encouraged nor discouraged. Flowering of an individual's true nature is celebrated. This world at first, focused on tech advancements as a community, like "Tomorrowland". Soon they get bored of it and commit suicide out of boredom. Because every form of "pleasure" is short circuited, it was not really suicide, it was MahaSamadhi. People left behind their bodies, consciously, without any external aid. Where did it go wrong? Or did it? Thoughts?
  3. __ Spiral Dynamics will soon become totally invalid to me, let me make good use of it while I can. --- Help me make a list of things to truly burn down Tier 1, forget about integration. I'll go first Become Fire Access an endless source of fuel Stay afire Set your Heart ablaze
  4. I remember how I used to get annoyed when artists are creating guns, I used to think "why, our world already got enough war going on, why create guns". So hilarious😆.. And thanks for the suggestions @FourCrossedWands and @Danioover9000, those games got very nice mechanics in place. Manor Lords for example, is providing procedural tools to build game worlds.. It's nice to see such games exist.
  5. Aw, I just realized I was subtly pushing certain values... Thanks for the shocker, Leo.
  6. If you use a 3D program or Game Engine for long periods of time, you'll start having visual thoughts in the infinite void. And it's not a big surprise. It used to happen when I push myself to imagine levels and certain other aspects, often when I'm feeling half asleep. Much like lucid dreaming but with control over the environment and what you create in that void. P.S - Aren't you able to see it's just a 3D video? The snake gave away the illusion.
  7. I understand now. If there's resistance, fully give in to it. Let it be there. Just look deeper. There's nothing wrong with resistance. Spiritual people will condition you to "let go, surrender.." and all that crap. Just don't listen to them. And remember none of what they say is the absolute truth. What's best for you right now is your own feeling, let that be your guide.
  8. I'm the same age as you. Since the age of 19, I have been free from all sorts of institutions, I dropped them out of my life. Also realized early on, there are things which I can make money with, skills which come to me too easy. But ofc they don't give any satisfaction. So, I'm still a total newbie at what I am pursuing. I wouldn't recommend anyone to do what I did, and there's many more years to come. "Set a goal which will take decades to master, but live in the moment without a care about what happens the next moment." It all depends on what your values are. Find them.
  9. Continue singing. And probably not for an audience. A retreat to heal and strengthen your vocal muscles would be a good opportunity now. From reading your post, you were on the verge of giving up not because you can't sing.. But the fear of outcome.. But yes, the making a living part must be weighing on you to make a wiser choice. That should have to go. Meaning, forget all about making a living if you wanna excel at something you've taken a hit at. It's true for everything creative. Money aspect just gets in the way. Good day.
  10. Don't half ass socializing. If you wanna socialize. Do it directly. There's absolutely no need for college as a medium.
  11. There's 0 need to surrender to anything or anyone 😂. What are you so concerned about? If it's about new learning. You can become nothing.
  12. Right to exist. If you are seeking such a context. That's what you'll get. Because what else are you capable of realising at the moment. It's basically like saying karma doesn't exist for the one who is aware. So, yes. You have to earn the right to live.
  13. Just look how delusional it is to think God wants to acknowledge itself.. so it's fallen low. Because God is lonely 😂.
  14. I don't understand what's the deal with humanizing God
  15. I've been contemplating this... Don't know about addiction. But about procrastination, you're already assuming there's things you gotta do. And those things are often things you'd rather avoid for reasons unknown. You may love it, in some sense. But yet it's hard to bring yourself to do it. Recently I've entered a different territory. And it's been difficult to preserve the meaning in anything I do. I eventually gave up trying to build meaning. What can be easily broken is better off broken. The truth is, vision is a poor substitute for awareness. My only goal these days is to preserve my awareness and pass a certain threshold. No real reason why. It's not even worth calling a goal. Because it's not. It should be natural. But this again, like you said is extremely difficult to do, when the energy is pulled in many different directions. And I have to constantly remind myself. I'm terribly disappointed by human standards of living. It's partially because I want everyone to have a different, more evolved norm. But realising how unrealistic it is. And how much it will hinder their survival and they can't afford it. For me, it was, so far I've built my interests by following my heart and ignoring every little motivation factor from outside. Now, I feel utterly lonely, I realised the place I've reached is so lonely. And this is the place I call home. And been losing friends from my life on a high speed. May be procrastination is a coping mechanism to go back to the world's norms.. And a way to preserve my empathy for the world.. And be a part of it.. like an actual part, of the group. There's only 2 things, which can break this. A strong ego, or a strong nothingness. Both will do. Ego is easier to summon, but hard to maintain. And nothingness takes a bit of work and pain sucking.. but less energy is needed to preserve it. I guess drugs are a failed way of preserving one or the other.. same for any addictions. Life purpose is equivalent of building a strong ego and maintaining it. Higher learning requires you be fluid.. But survival requires you be grounded and be blind in a way. That is if you're going the ego route.
  16. So, basically the higher stuffs mess with your survival...
  17. It's interesting to see how everyone have different meanings to the word free will.. Don't listen to Sadhguru too much. He has no intention of making you free. He have an agenda. He is just fulfilling that. Infact he tramples on others' freedom too much, by means of manipulation, social engineering.
  18. 1. It's easy to make choices and plans which seem to have little external influence.. But if you start execution of those plans, you realise how much grip the external factors have on you. 2. You make choices within a predetermined context. You mentioned Financial Status. But don't get to choose whether money should even exist in the world or not. Most of the times, you have very little control over the context. And most people take the context for granted, and give little thought to altering it completely. For example, "A world without money". 3. The illusion of free will. Let's say you decide to make a lot of money, or let's say you decided to live in the woods. Look at the context again. The context is forcing you to make one choice or the other. Of course, there's a myriad of choices. But all of it, is simply some form of slavery. 4. Everything you do is pointless. Meaning is made up. Religion is made up. Wanting to live as "such and such" a human being is utterly pointless. Everyone is EQUAL, ONE.. 5. The illusion of having no control. You are god, you created everything. Everything you can possibly experience and imagine, is all your own creation. Even space time and other human beings. You are lost in your own creation. How does that make you feel?
  19. @BojackHorsemanI just re read.. Thanks for the clarification.
  20. It is so absurd to even actively look for another gender. It should come to you naturally when your nature is stronger than their(society's) masks. Infact women may find you extremely disturbing if you are beyond a level of consciousness. Just try your best to hide what you know.
  21. AI has nothing to do with art tbh. It only changes the commercial, business aspects. It's just an excuse to pay less. Give up art? Are you so dumb? 😂 Art is beyond AI tbh. I'm not talking about commerical art.. infact art done for commerce is better off being replaced.
  22. @Davino Remember, it's a spiral, meaning, yellow have the necessary Orange in it, the necessary Purple in it. This is why you're still not living in the woods. You can totally start at Turquoise if you so want.
  23. I have a feeling that in next 10 years, the world will see a lot of children who are naturally Stage Yellow. But, will have a hard time navigating the world because of the prevailing Stage Orange dynamics in the society. It's not necessary that one should tick all the boxes, of all stages. So, telling such an intelligent population to bend to stage orange and play their dirty games is a sheer insult. The solution to thrive in such a society is too obvious, become creative, and irreplaceable. But also, early stage yellow will have some trouble to make that transition, where the norm was to confirm to the values of stage orange to survive. This would be something like "How to escape Wage Slavery?" Video. But more catered towards stage yellow, and how actually thrive with a stage yellow+ Life Purpose.
