  1. What do you think changed humans from what they were 2000 years ago? It's this very same effort you see here. The effort to do better.
  2. What do you expect when the game is rigged?
  3. It's one of the phases, yes. Don't get too attached to one or the other. If you people think you must shoot, then shoot you must. Just asking, do you seriously see no consequence to it? That's the exact problem, if enough people's worldview changes, "it's a really inefficient way to live like this on earth, I have to do my part and at least see things for what they are. And not have my worldviews built out of fantasies.", there won't be anyone left to do this dirty work, and we won't even need to do this. This is not a matter of spiritual "hobby" thinking; your whole life has to reflect it. And don't worry, most won't go through this trouble, current systems will make sure they have no energy left for independent thought, and much less adopt a worldview which will make living harder.
  4. "I am to lazy to think by myself, and what do you expect, I'd read these long para to upgrade my sense making? I'm happy where I am, being what I am"
  5. You should be joking. A country is the very definition of division. You don't see that?
  6. To Krishna all humans are one and equal. Killing a fly is no different from killing any human. Is that how you live? And don't invent false contexts. Why are the refugees coming over? Their home is in a bad state, what has caused it? Because humans aren't united yet. Don't throw blame game, and blaming countries, governments... These systems are inefficient by design. What else do you expect when we built and stayed with these systems? For one, the then existing systems as a whole couldn't tolerate anything better. Times are changing. Each and every one of us is responsible.
  7. How hard is to to see things as they are? Don't make excuses to corrode your vision.
  8. How hard is it for you to accept this is a structural problem? Complacency, and acceptance of countries as norm. Countries, borders, military, govt.. all are just one phase. The things we do to ignore what's right infront of us.
  9. Don't worry, we have infinite number of isolation chambers in here. We treat violent people gently.
  10. There's a lot of room in my apartment. Just pay the rent. If you're a refugee. You're welcome though.
  11. Come to the woods, find an empty spot. There's enough for everyone.
  12. Another band of monkeys who think they can shoot other monkeys. Fuck the borders.
  13. The more closer you're to life, the more meaningless the outside world and it's drama. The thought that there's meaning somewhere out there is just your fantasy. Fantasy is the foundation of survival.
  14. I've been meaning to highlight the best of all stages. Good start.
  15. Comparison is fine. But introduce as many parameters as you can. It becomes a lot of mental work to keep it up. The goal is to compare until you exhaust the imbalance. If you're using Instagram to compare, spend atleast 3 minutes on every post, with intense attention. And don't make assumptions, only heed to things you know about them, actually know. So, why are you worrying your mind about things you don't know? Do you even know they exist? for sure? It takes some awakening to know everyone and everything is one and equal. Nobody is higher than you, nobody is lower than you.
  16. It doesn't try to stick out and not a thriller by any means. It's honestly boring. We expect some grand thing, some grand solution, a villian or hero, but no, this one, it only have people. Just normal people who try to navigate a divided world. The likability of characters keeps changing, everyone is on a morally gray area. No one is correct, or right here.
  17. 3% is a Brazilian TV Series. A dystopian world where only the 3% get to enjoy all the advanced technology and great living conditions. At first we might think, the elites are evil, and so on. The case is, it's not that black and white. The series is a good meta perspective on various social dynamics. This is a good stage yellow media. Shows both sides of the coin in a nuanced way.
  18. @Emerald The first mistake was to assume every human being have the same kind of evolution. That's not the case. Humans as a community have evolved to create individuals who are very unique. Those who revel in being alone are also part of the evolution. Know this, no matter what your unique traits are, we are all one. In other words, one's actions and way of living always finds a way to even things out. This idea is hard to swallow for most of the world, likewise profound truths gets pushed under the rug often. Science "talks" about stuff humans are ready for. It's not interested in the outliers and crazy ideas.
  19. Best way to learn it is to build systems. Could be anything, just have a clear goal in mind, then lock in. Systems are not just mental models like spiral dynamics. You'll learn more by building systems in real world than by reading a book about systems. Just start.
  20. I wasn't talking about Leo, not by any means. I'm trying to get you all to appreciate all the forms human mind can take on. Everything is a possibility.
  21. Being NOT social doesn't mean one has to hate people. Its not black and white. You're all making it hard for Leo to speak his mind. A mind which loves socialization is shallow by default. That is the definition of a group. That's the whole point of a group, you don't have to do all the heavy lifting. You can relax. The latter is not "anti-social", the latter doesn't care about socializing, he doesn't avoid people either. Having people around makes no difference to him. And he does go through a phase where he avoids people, as in anti social. And that's a good thing, an essential step. Human mind has so much flexibility, don't underestimate it. If you are a social being, anything else is "the other". You don't care about it. So it's easy to just put labels on it and be done with it.
  22. Don't be ridiculous, transcending the need for people, is one of the basic steps, towards Sovereignty of Mind. If you ask such a person, "if the whole world ended right now, keeping you and you alone alive, would you be happy?" Yes would be the answer. Because happiness was never tied to others. It changes nothing, he was happy before when people were doing their own thing, he's the same now with all people literally gone.
