A favorite pastime for me - as well as a good way to practice spiral dynamic intuitiveness - is to watch movies and contemplate the rough placement of their characters, central plot narrative, and message onto the spiral dynamics map of values. What are some of your favorite movies and where would you place them? (e.g. one of my favorite movies is A24's Iron Claw which I would say is heavily centered in orange with much blue, and a good bit of red, undertones.) I also find it the process of watching a movie a day for a week that slowly builds up the spiral from beige -- yellow (With turquoise movies being limited in quantity) quite helpful to visualize where pitfalls, contradictions, and evolution bridges between stages form from.

Trying to write about Truth is like trying to build something with Lego bricks that change size, shape, color, and function as your pick them up and play with them.

"Life is an essentially tragic enterprise where you seek to vanquish and transcend the limited self whose limits make the game possible in the first place. It is tragic and sad and chaotic and lovely. The animating limits within are to be killed and mourned over and over again." - Paraphrased from David Foster Wallace's Novel, Infinite Jest

"Sometimes I think the point of Philosophy is to teach something really simple to an idiot; then I remember that the idiot, is me." - (me) side note: Has anyone seen a quote similar to it? Remind you of any quotes?
