I've already talked about it in the previous page here I think. Yeh demon in this context is just a God with a belief in separation. Calling it a demon is kind of dramatic, I guess. They've talked about many other things that I've experienced directly. -

Because 95% of things they said I confirmed in my direct experience, so the remaining 5% I can't confirm I believe. -

Yep, been doing that for years, just some things, like previous lifes, you can't really access directly now. Some have that ability, not me though. So having teachers who help is wonderful -

Yep, I know all of this. Doing it is what I fail at, for like the 100th time. Lol π -

@NineHfanbase thanks for the input. Not blaming Leo, just disagreeing on the reason why the universe was created, which is a biggie. Besides that, yeh we are on the same page on a lot of metaphysical things. -

I also feel like this is the life of awakening. We are blessed indeed if that is so. Let us dedicate ourselves to the Divine and make it happen. π§ββοΈ -

Greetings, Max, thank you for joining the discussion. My teachers, apostles Thaddeus and Thomas, say that looking at one single life creates bias, as you only see this one, not the one before and after. They state that we usually live one good life, then one bad, then one good, and so on and on, as per duality of the universe. In the end, we will live the same amount of good as bad lifetimes. So you are living a good one now and are hopeful, but there is no guarantee you won't be reborn next life into a country that is at war, under nuclear threat, with starvation, etc.. -

@Princess Arabia yep, I did leave for a while to focus on meditation exclusively, now trying to maintain awareness whilst spending time here. Actualized.org forum has it's grips in me as well π I enjoy this forum as people that gather here are so open-minded. They have to be if they follow Leo, so glad to discuss stuff with them. -

Slowing down is the primary tool that allows us to bring the Peace of God with us wherever we go. Walking really slowly might feel awkward at first, especially since everyone is going so fast, but the presence of Peace will soon overshadow that awkwardness. Everything we do, even typing, can be turned into a spiritual practice. Maintaining awareness of the breath aids in the slowing down process. We come back home to Heaven through what the Hindhus call Samadhi, a state of perfect inner stillness. However, if we spend 5 hours per day meditating in an Asana and then the rest of the day we drop that stillness, rushing around doing things without awareness, then it's like we are going forward a mile and then back the same distance, leaving us stuck at the same spot on our spiritual journey, even though we are meditating alot. I remember a time when I was very dedicated to maintaining Samadhi throughout the day. One morning, while sitting at a park, I suddenly shifted into a an incomplete and temporary state of Unity, where the inner and outer became one. The state could be described as containing "Peace that passeth understanding" as well as being blissful, although not at the level of psychadelic trips, but it was still fantastic. Anyway.. The state brought with itself an even greater, naturally occuring physical stillness. Which is great, unless you are crossing a wide, busy street and you see the green light starting to flash, even though you haven't made it even half way across the street, so I had to run the remaining distance. π That's when I noticed that the sudden increase in the speed of movement made the peace and bliss reduce significantly, even though I slowed down again after crossing. Uh oh, it turns out that speed is the enemy of God. It's not an original idea, but perhaps a refresher will be useful to some of us here. Thank you for reading. (hopefully slowly) ππ§ββοΈ P.S. I've also had a girl come up to me, give me a flower and tell me the way I walk is amazing, referring to the slow, gentle meditative walk. We ended up exchanging numbers and hanging out, turns out she's very spiritual. So there you go, another pick-up tactic for you guys who are into that type of stuff. π -

That's a wonderful insight. I think we connect to true wisdom when we are present, so whatever we do is more effective. Thank you for sharing π -

@gettoefl Wonderful! You are precisely right! If my delivery is unkind and has pride in it, it means that I stepped out of the Holy Instant and into the unforgiving, frustrating thought system of the ego. If I master maintaining inner peace, the delivery will change naturally. I'm not talking about changing behaviour while keeping inner attitude the same, but I guess that's how I sounded like, so my bad. Glad to hear you've found the book valuable and understood it. Peace be with us. π -

Hmm, could you explain how infinity of the Self makes it so that mistakes within his mind are impossible? Yes, the error (seperation) didn't actually happen, but he believed it did it. When God, in his innocence, at the metaphysical level was contemplating what it would be like to seperate, he got an experiencial answer, since at that level all wishes are fullfilled. Yet when he seemingly seperated, his previous state of Oneness was completly forgotten, so he couldn't look back and remmember that he is God. And when the experience of seperation occured, still at the metaphysical level, he experienced fear, since duality means that the opposite of God, which is Love, will be created. If the same Love was created, or if the previous state of Oneness wasn't forgotten, then the request in his mind for the experience of duality wouldn't have been possible. -

@Squeekytoy hmm, I think let's agree to disagree at this point as I am sure neither of us will change their mind. I did find your arguments really intelligent, so thank you for the discussion. Hope we have some more in the future. π€ -

I get the argument, but we really don't remmember the time when this whole shabang started and this is the only explanation I found that perfectly explains this universe and God. -

Hmm, I think that Divine Mind has the ability to feel guilt. Why not? When God's mind is healthy and pure, His nature is Love, but in this case, he made a whoopsie and Love was replaced by guilt. -

Wohoo, happy to hear! It actually took me like 3 times of closely studying the Dissapearance of the Universe to grasp it. I even played out the seperation story as though it was happening right now to make it more real and grasp it. All of his other books are fantastic as well, since it's from the Apostles. The books "Lifetimes where Jesus and Buddha knew each other" were just mindblowing!! Can't recommend them highly enough. Anyway, hope you can keep pushing towards total commitment even after times when the illusion sucks you back in. It's impossible to let it all go at once, but we have to try again and again, clearing out the attatchements little by little, making less mistakes and wisening up with each passing day. Also, let me know if there are some lessons in ACIM or terms you find confusing, as Jesus has his own meaning for words and he uses unique terms. Not even saying I get all of them perfectly, but I might be helpful in some cases. π -

@Thought Art Same here.. Extending an apology as well. Was annoyed from beforehand and didn't want to talk to anyone, so you just got hit with the vibe I was already in. I guess the ideas we discuss are very sensitive to each of us, as we literally base our lives on them, so it's easy to to get frustrated when someone disagrees, dismisses them and so on. I'm also trying to improve and go into relationships with the intention of maintaining peace and avoiding conflict. Sounds simple, but doing it is.. you know.. challenging to say the least.. π Anyway, I did read every book from Leo's booklist under the topics that were relevant, so if there were some about politics or similar I might have skipped them, but everything under spirituality/metaphysics/money/relationships and so on I did read. I saw Leo as the wisest guy around and he was my main teacher since I was like 17, so if he recommends a book - I read it. I've seen all of his videos as well, exluding the politics ones and a few others. When I say I saw him as my main teacher, I mean I followed everything he said, wrote on the forum, on his blog, did everything he recommended to do (like 30-40 high dose trips with solo meditation retreats lasting weeks as preparation), etc.. I'm so passionate about recommending the particular book I mentioned because I can see Leo's worldview pretty accurately, since I've read and experienced many things he has and I know he's missing something that would be life-changing for him and his students, because it was for me. It was already very valuable for a few people on this forum who did try and read that book, as per their feedback. I see people on this forum at the same level of understanding I was at not so long ago, so I feel like I could help them soo much if they would be open to it. I guess I do come out as arrogant when I explain things, but I just try to provide clear arguments in an attempt to be helpful. Not that I can't and shouldn't improve my delivery. Anyway, on to your arguments: -"If a demon created reality, who created the demon?" When I say demon, I am reffering to the same God, but at a point where he honestly believed that he seperated himself from God, hence no longer identifying himself as God, but as something else. He then felt guilty for the seeming error of seperation (betraying God, which he now sees as someone outside of himself) and the guilt was so accute, that he had to run from it. As a solution, he pushed the guilt out of his awareness and projected a whole universe outside of himself with people doing bad things to him, so that his internal guilt seemed outside of himself, now they are guilty, not you, which minimises the internal terror and guilt he felt. It's just a short, badly written summary of what happened at a metaphysical level and why the universe of time and space was miscreated. I'm bad at explaining it, that's one of the reasons I direct people to the book. But yeh, I'm saying God, in his innocence, was contemplating about the idea of seperation, like a kid playing with matches, and then he thought that he burned down the house, which he really didn't, but he believed he did. He really believed his mind split, and now there's him, and God outside of him. Yeh, I suck at explaining. "If God is all loving, why doesnβt he love pain and suffering just as much as pleasure and joy?" Well you are God, so why don't you? Because it doesn't feel good. Trying to love pain is silly. Why would one hurt himself in the first place if the purpose is love? Why not just go straight to love? You don't need pain as a contrast to enjoy love. Even for contrast, you can just go into emptiness, rest there, and blissout again, no need for pain. -

This almost made me puke. And then this fellow thinks that post is a masterpiece. I'm amongst the retarded. Oh how you bless me, the creator of time, Demiurge, with your infinite gifts. I feel unworthy of such companions, such scholars, such ancient mystics full of wisdom. I will leave them be, swimming in their oceans of knowledge, too grand for me to comprehend even a fraction of. Oh Demiurge, now you understand why I choose to dissapear this world with all of your beautiful children, that speak to me so softly. Their love is immeasurable, so strong it melts my egoic ways, as I will melt your illusion. These corpses teach me the ways of the Lord, of whom they've been thought by you, dear Demiurge. So sweet and pleasant their tongues, so sharp and striking their true intentions. Oh blesseth you me, belived Demiurge, yet I giveth thy gifts back, as I feel unworthy of anything not of my Lord. -

What are you blabbering about π are all of your 8 thousand posts like that? God help people who listen to you. You haven't read enough Buddhist scriptures to talk. Buddha didn't reach Love, he reached Void and he doesn't talk about enlightenment as "life". It's crazy how you talk about things you have no clue about. Just a usual minion of the illusion, I guess. -
CoolDreamThanks replied to NineHfanbase's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@NineHfanbase Careful now. You've had the right idea before when you believed that awakening is total commitment. You can't serve two masters, the illusion and the truth. If you try, since your base state is egoic, you will get immersed into the illusion and forget God. To awaken, God has to be at the forefront of your mind 24/7. If you want to reach Truth, you have to sacrifice the illusion, which is a small price to pay as it's nothing to be desired if you clearly see what it really is. I know monks who go in and out of monasteries and don't get enlightened because they still have things they want from this world. Anyway, not going to intrude upon your post anymore, just wanted to give a nudge in the right direction as you seem open mindead and smart, but still at a danger of being influenced by incorrect ideas, since your thought system isn't yet perfected. I would advise contemplating my advise and the opposing ones in silence, while staying present and looking at your past experiences. I've said pretty much everything there is to say on the topic. It's an extremely important one. If you choose wrongly, you won't wake up and suffer. That's why no one here is enlightened. They haven't totally commited. Anyway.. Good luck, dear brother. I hope you see the light and it brings you home. π
