@Salvijus brother, how can I listen to anything you say when you don't even know that life is a dream, which is the main metaphysical concept the Course attempts to teach? Jesus literally says - you are hallucinating. Those people you see - they are completely unreal. Regarding manifestation - Ken Wapnick, the man Jesus appointed to teach the Course, clearly says that Jesus does not attempt to teach you how to improve your dream, but only how to escape it. He literally says that this dream will never become Heaven on earth, which is what Bashar teaches. So you know better than Ken Wapnick, right? You studied the Course more than 30 years, more than him, so you interpretation is correct? You say life is not a dream, so you know better than ACIM, Ramana, Nisragadata, Ananda Ma, Leo, and many other mistics. For me, your words carry as much power within them as a single strand of a dandelion fluff. Let's not discuss metaphysics with one another ever again, we are in completely different worlds. -

@BlessedLion It's definitely not for everyone. It's deeply intellectual and full of metaphors and analogies. It's also holographic; within every chapter, there is the whole Course, but in different words. It's also written in a weird format, starting with the 50 principles of miracles, which you can't understand unless you have first done the course. In the end, it says the same thing Ramana Maharshi does, but with many more nuances and in a difficult-to-digest language. Whenever the Course uses words like Holly Spirit, Voice of God, Miracle, and Forgiveness - it's all the same thing - stillness and silence, or as Ramana would call it - Self-enquiry. Many people, including me, don't like the format - how it takes 1333 pages to say the same thing repeatedly in difficult language. It came through a deeply intellectual psychologist who also liked Shakespeare, so the Course was written in the Iambic Pentameter, a style of poetry Shakespeare used. Ken Wapnick, the person Jesus assigned to teach the course, is extremely intellectual and deeply involved in concepts. Interestingly, the Course says its whole point is to bring us beyond concepts. So yeah, it's for a certain type of person, mostly those who are interested in concepts and intellectualizing. David Hoffmeister, one of the most popular ACIM teachers, attended university for 10 years, so he naturally liked the course because it was so intellectual. Ramana Maharshi is the complete opposite of that - he says in one minute what the Course takes 100 hours. The message is the same, though. Oh, by the way, I know that within Conversations in God, God supposedly says that the same Source wrote ACIM and CwG, but to the trained eye, they are completely different. CwG focuses so much on manifestation and living the good life, while ACIM is about escaping from the dream and doesn't mention manifestation at all. In fact, ACIM says that you have to let go of all the idols you have made in the dream to return home to God. I think CwG is just the same new-age message that Abraham and Bashar teach, while ACIM aligns with the true mystics of the ages, like Ramana Maharshi. -

Ramana and ACIM teach the same thing bdw It’s obvious that you haven’t done the workbook, as the whole second part of it is all about silence. -

Uh, oh, our little brother Salvijus doesn't even know that it's a solipsistic dream and is already teaching others. -

I remember writing Leo around 10 messages in a week, and he deleted my account. That's the only way, only he can delete accounts. -

I'm not a follower of Leo's, so my advice will be outside of his teachings, but anyway: You might think that you made mistakes and life sucks now. That's only partly true. No matter what choices you would have made - life would have been bad in one way or the other. The form of a bad life differs for everyone, but everyone suffers immensely on this planet. This is the first step towards awakening. It's what motivates you to escape this hellish domain. You are dreaming a nightmare, have been for thousands of lifetimes, and you need to understand how to wake up from it forever. How do you do it? Read A Course in Miracles, listen to Ken Wapnick, and A Course in Miracles with Keith on YouTube. Also, read the Disappearance of the Universe by Gary Renard; it's a good intro into ACIM. Understanding the nature of this universe deeply will allow you to escape it. Nothing unique is happening to you; everyone is suffering; some wear a smile and distract themselves from their pain. We are in hell. You were set up to fail from the very beginning. To return home to Heaven, you simply need to let go of all the idols you have in this dream and surrender to your true Self. This means meditating 24/7 until all the contents of your consciousness are rinsed out and nothing remains that keeps you dreaming. If you haven't already, understanding Ramana Maharshi's teachings also helps. If you are lucky and dedicate yourself, it's a life-long journey. For most, getting close to the Truth will take another 100 lifetimes. Some fall asleep deeper and choose wrong teachers that keep them stuck in the dream - including Leo, and basically 99% of all others. Some fall asleep just a bit and get Jesus as their guide back home. Best of luck. -

Yep, he tricked himself into believing his method. It’s so absurd when he says - if you try to check if the method works - it wont work. You have to trust it. Lol, so foolish. you can just look at some of his calibrations and see that they are just silly. They reflect his own understanding, that’s it. -

Expressions of love occur naturally when the mind is silent. “We teach love not through actions or through behaviours, but through the queitness in our minds” - Ken Wapnick -

what the fuck is this question -
CoolDreamThanks replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Here's another idea to consider - desires are false idols, placed in front of your eyes, to distract you from the Truth. Sex is literally a replacement for God, people even say - oh my God, oh my God, when doing it. When you don't have God, you will chase false idols until the day you die, as a replacement, a shadow of the love you lost. If you want to come back home to God, you will have to let go of ALL false idols, not one can remain. It seems like a sacrifice to those who are unaware, but when you understand what is life, then you know that you are truly exchanging nothing in place of everything - you exchange this world and its desires in place of Heaven, which is 1000000x better than any peak experience in this world. So, let go of this world and awaken. -

Desires do not go away if you let them go. Let's take your profane example - if you stop releasing your sexual energy, it will get stuck, and will create pressure. You will need to release it one way or another. If you cut of jerking off, you will go to strippers, chase girls, etc. When you become really advanced in meditation, then that pressure gets released through meditation, but beforehand, you can't truly let go of desires, as you will simply repress them and they will explode in an unhealthy way sooner or later - like with priests. -

 "In quietness are all things answered, and is every problem quietly resolved." "Be still, and rest in quietness upon your Lord. Leave all your thoughts of the world behind, and come to me with wholly empty hands." "The memory of God comes to the quiet mind." "There can be no doubt that if you are willing to rest in quietness upon the Holy Spirit" "In quietness are all things answered, and is every problem quietly resolved." "Simply do this: Be still, and lay aside all thoughts of what you are and what God is; all concepts you have learned about the world; all images you hold about yourself. ²Empty your mind of everything it thinks is either true or false, or good or bad, of every thought it judges worthy, and all the ideas of which it is ashamed. ³Hold onto nothing. ⁴Do not bring with you one thought the past has taught, nor one belief you ever learned before from anything. ⁵Forget this world, forget this course, and come with wholly empty hands unto your God. (ACIM, W-189.7:1-5)" "Forgiveness, on the other hand, is still, and quietly does nothing" "In quiet I receive God's Word today. 1. 1Let this day be a day of stillness and of quiet listening" "The miracle comes quietly into the mind that stops an instant and is still." "Let this day be a day of stillness and of quiet listening… His Voice awaits your silence, for His Word can not be heard until your mind is quiet for a while, and meaningless desires have been stilled. Await His Word in quiet. There is peace within you to be called upon today, to help make ready your most holy mind to hear the Voice for its Creator speak. (A Course in Miracles W-pI.125.1:1;6:2-4)" "Father, I come to You today to seek the peace that You alone can give. ²I come in silence. ³In the quiet of my heart, the deep recesses of my mind, I wait and listen for Your Voice. ⁴⁵I come to hear Your Voice in silence and in certainty and love, sure You will hear my call and answer me." Now do we wait in quiet. ⁶We wait with one intent; to hear our Father’s answer to our call, to let our thoughts be still." (ACIM, W-221.1:1–2:6) "The instant’s silence that His Son accepts gives welcome to eternity and Him, and lets Them enter where They would abide. For in that instant does the Son of God do nothing that would make himself afraid.” “Salvation is undoing in the sense that it does nothing, failing to support the world of dreams and malice. Thus it lets illusions go. By not supporting them, it merely lets them quietly go down to dust. And what they hid is now revealed; an altar to the holy Name of God whereon His Word is written, with the gifts of your forgiveness laid before it, and the memory of God not far behind” “He brings the ending of the world with Him. It is His Call God’s teachers answer, turning to Him in silence to receive His Word. The world will end when all things in it have been rightly judged by His judgment. The world will end with the benediction of holiness upon it. When not one thought of sin remains, the world is over. It will not be destroyed nor attacked nor even touched. It will merely cease to seem to be.” “The Voice for God is always quiet, because It speaks of peace.” “His quiet children are His blessed Sons.” “God is very quiet, for there is no conflict in Him.” “Only God’s Comforter can comfort you. In the quiet of His temple, He waits to give you the peace that is yours.” “In perfect peace He waits for you at His Father’s altar, holding out the Father’s Love to you in the quiet light of the Holy Spirit’s blessing.” “He lives within you in the quiet present, and waits for you to leave the past behind and enter into the world He holds out to you in love.” “Can you imagine what it means to have no cares, no worries, no anxieties, but merely to be perfectly calm and quiet all the time? Yet that is what time is for; to learn just that and nothing more.” “God rests with you in quiet, undefended and wholly undefending, for in this quiet state alone is strength and power. Here can no weakness enter, for here is no attack and therefore no illusions.” “The memory of God comes to the quiet mind.” “Let all this madness be undone for you, and turn in peace to the rememberance of God, still shining in your quiet mind.” “Forget not that the motivation for this course is the attainment and the keeping of the state of peace. Given this state the mind is quiet, and the condition in which God is remembered is attained. It is not necessary to tell Him what to do. He will not fail.” “The still infinity of endless peace surrounds you gently in its soft embrace, so strong and quiet, tranquil in the might of its Creator, nothing can intrude upon the sacred Son of God within” “The quiet that surrounds you dwells in him, and from this quiet come the happy dreams in which your hands are joined in innocence.” “Judge not except in quietness which is not of you.” -

I see it's not getting through. As expected. The ego doesn't want to learn what will kill him - Silence. The ego wants to continue thinking, which is the fuel behind him and this world. He's happy thinking "holly" thoughts, as it keeps him intact. "i am glad to hear you are having divine experiences, just be careful not to get attached, because they are not mandatory and can be dangerous" - Investigate why you aren't having them. Divine experiences are natural when you become miracle-minded. It's not anything special. When you practice who you truly are - Silence, you experience who you truly are - Heaven. I do, and you do not, because you practice incorrectly. Simple and obvious. "The miracle comes quietly into the mind that stops an instant and is still. " - notice that it doesn't come to a mind that "thinks diametrically opposed thoughts" You will be surprised to learn that it's all about silence, when you really do the Course, as now you made things up based on DU and your own misinterpretation. As many do. -

@gettoefl so you're still confused with the process of forgiveness. You think it's about thinking. You probably read DU and not ACIM, hence the confusion. Yes, from Gary's books it seems like you have to think a certain way, but when you read ACIM and understand it, you will see that it's about silencing the mind until it dies and the world dies with it. Gary himself recommends Ken Wapnick. Jesus appointed Ken as a man who will explain the course. Listen to Ken's lessons, they will help you understand that it's not about thinking, it's about SILENCE. Listen to A Course in Miracles with Keith on Youtube as well, he is the foremost student of Ken's and preserve's his main teaching - Silence, or the true practice of forgiveness which brings enlightenment. Why would Jesus say that forgiveness is still and silently does nothing? Why would he, in the workbook, say that you must forget everything, including this course, and slip past all thoughts into that silent place inside where God dwells? It's the same process Ramana Maharshi recommends, but he calls it self-enquiry. Just try siting silently for a month and you will see that it's true. I did it and I began visiting the formless realms of heaven, as described in DU. You don't get it, but you definitely think that you do. Not that I care what a dream character does, but I do like discussing ACIM. -

@gettoefl you can think you are not a body and still remain damaged. you dont awaken by being a holly ego, thinking holly thoughts. You awaken by forgiveness, which means by being still and slipping past all thoughts into that silent place where God dwells. acim gives you, seemingly, thoughts to practice, but the point of acim is to go beyond concepts, as all concepts, even those that say your brothers are holly, are still within the ego framework. seeing brothers as holly means overlooking the form alltogether and being silent inside, not saying - oh look, a holly brother. Thats still ego speaking. Spirit and forgiveness is silent. -

Jung didn't understand what is happening here. He uncovered that we have a shadow, but he didn't understand that the whole human mind is a shadow. The good part of the human mind is a mask the shadow puts on, not the other way around. He also didn't understand that it's unreal, a figment of the imagination, a shadowy identity, made out of nothing and doomed to return to nothingness. You can analyze the ego for all of your life and you will find infinite quirks, because it was born out of error and doesn't have a source. It's a bastard child. -

Good, why would you spend time with people in the insane assylum, when you have healed, at least a bit? here’s how to decide who to be friends with: does their presence help you relax deeper into the peace of God or does it hinder it? If it hinders it, they are the opposite of what a true friend is. be kind to yourself and protect your well-being. Everyone on this planet is psycho, but since everyone is, it seems normal, until you heal. -

It’s impossible to desribe a formless experience outside of all experience. Cessation as a word is accurate. Talking more about it would just remove us further from that non-experience. Cessation is a dead-end anyway. It’s a trap Buddha fell into and all those who follow his path. It’s just an “experience” of nothingness. Sure it feels like the mind and all the universe reset - so what? You will have to reincarnate again with this level of atainment. clowns like Frank Yang, Shinzen, Spira and most other teachers reach it and then preach it as enlightenment. Lol. read ACIM and start to learn true wisdom what enlightenment is. All other teachers are the messengers sent by the ego and will lead you only to death, a thousandth time. -

Did you already get what forgiveness truly is and how to take it to the end, so it brings enlightenment? did you get what idols are? Do you understand temptation and the danger within it? are you aware of what the Holly Spirit really is? I wonder if you really get acim. I started practicing it seriously and began experiencing formless heaven. -

Experienced cessation during my first psychadelic trip. It does feel like a deep reset. Although the mind struggled to interpret the experience accurately at first and got into a dark knight of the soul. I’ll try to reach it or a simular state naturally now, it simply requires a prolonged exposure to meditation. -

I think it's a question of desire. Enlightenment is a total commitment. Whenever I choose to focus on that place of inner stillness inside as much as I can for extended periods of time, like months, I begin to merge with God, little by little. Sometimes I get an enlightenment experience every few days, if I meditate all day all night. Sometimes I wake up in bliss, and I can carry it with me throughout the day, at least a bit. My dreams become celestial as well, even more amazing than what I experience on psychedelics, but psychedelics have a certain tension to it, at least for me, but when I get heavenly dreams, they are completely effortless and have a natural feel if that makes sense. So my experience tells me that if I commit myself fully to this practice, I get closer and closer to God. It is The Way. If I drop this total commitment, all my bliss and enlightenment experiences go away. It's my current understanding that we cannot serve two masters, we have to either choose God completely, or this world, this body and this mind. To get enlightened, this mind has to be returned to God, whose memory in us is the unshakable inner peace we can connect to. I don't think psychedelics can do it for you, not sure why. It would be the easiest path, just take them and tadaa, you're there. But it doesn't feel like it works that way, no matter how often you do it. It just show's you what's ahead, but to go there, you have to completely surrender to God. I think to really go for it, we have to be certain that nothing here satisfies us, we don't want anything from the world anymore, we're tired of it and we finally want to come back to our true home in Heaven, the place of Infinite Love. Interestingly, I learned, to a pretty high degree of mastery, how to manifest what I want in life. Bashar and Abraham and CwG teach this and it does work. It's just finding what you really really want, seeing it day and night, being obsessed by that vision, even acting it out to really tune yourself to that vibration, and then you get it, but it has to have a lot of momentum behind it. But whenever I get something, it's pretty empty and doesn't satisfy for long, even a soulmate or a lot of money. Compared to the Love of God, everything here is just breadcrumbs. Anyway.. That's my present understanding, how do you guys see it? -
CoolDreamThanks posted a topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You said that after hundreds of deep trips you've done you're still at pretty much the same baseline state. You have some accurate concepts, perhaps, but do you think you will reach enlightenment with your current understanding of the process? How do you plan to get enlightened, practically? Do you believe that death will awaken you? Or will you give a cop out like oh your confusing permanent vs impermanent states or whatever. Enlightenment is permanent and removes the need to dream other dreams, because the reason for dreaming was abolished. I know you won't get this now, but anyway, just wondering what's your POV on how you will do it. -

I remember reading a book Solipsism: The Ultimate Empirical Theory of Human Existence it’s written by a professor who teaches philosophy at washington university. he basically asked and compiled oponions and arguments for and against solipsism from various philosophers. his conclusion was: not a single argument against solipsism is strong and he is almost certain that solipsism is true. unfortunately, he also concluded that even if it’s true, it doesnt really matter. Ups. -
