So, looking back on my Enlightenment experiences, what Jesus is teaching, what Sri Sri Gurdaeva is teaching, it's very, very clear to me right now that the core of Enlightenment is the, whatchamacallit, the letting go, the transcendence of desires. Desires are the thing that keep you here. Sexual, food, money, these desires are literally the chains that bind me here. That's the whole, or like the major, the primary goal of Enlightenment, to transcend them, to let them go. And it's so difficult. Those impressions are so deep in the mind. So I'm trying, I'm putting baby steps. It will be a long journey, but yeah, it's all about letting go of pleasures of the world, and then you're naturally meditative, and then you can awaken and come back To Heaven. Pleasures = chains that bind to this illusion of death and decay. Letting go of all pleasures = coming back home to infinite Love, God. Baby steps.

so true about promiscuity - when someone is very promiscuous they have no motivation, vigor, joy, energy, care-freeness. when I abuse sexuality I also just sleep eat sex pc, repeat. so true with food as well - need to let hunger come, hunger fire grow and only then eat. fasting so helpful as well, for body and spirit - they are one, when one is healthy other is helped always.

Ok, so this works. A desire for junk food came up. But then I thought, wait, for the same price, I could buy some tasty, tasty strawberries and other berries. It just doesn't make sense to buy junk food. Fruits are so tasty and the best food ever for the human system. It aids in enlightenment, it helps the mind. So it just doesn't make sense anymore to not buy fruits and eat junk food. Even those chips I was eating weren't right. For the price, it's best to just buy fruits. Junk food and fruits have similar pricing, but their nutrition value is like a hundred times better just overall. Better.

I see the seductiveness of teachings like Tony Parsons and others, who basically say that there is nothing to achieve, this is already enlightenment, and there is no self to achieve anything. Because underneath this whole spiel, there is an assumption that now you are enlightened, and it's so attractive for the mind, if the mind was searching for a long time, to just go, oh, I am already enlightened, there is nothing to do. It's so lazy, in a sense. It's so seductive, you sort of accept that this is already enlightenment, and that's it, you just go on doing whatever you were doing before. You don't need to let go of pleasures, probably even can't stage a mental, you don't need to meditate, you can just say that you are enlightened, and that thought system is pretty airtight, by the way it is presented, you can go on talking about it, and it will be very difficult to rebuke.
-
In life, you constantly are bombarded with decisions, and it's just so important to make the right decision every moment of every day. And why not use every single thing you can to make the better decision? And you make better decisions when you feel better, when your system functions better, when your aura is clearer, when just every little thing, why wouldn't you optimize it? If your goal is so high, like enlightenment, why wouldn't you do that? So what I'm doing now is emptying my closet, leaving just a few natural fiber, light color clothing for the most part, optimizing my diet, eating mainly fruits, vegetables, nuts, juices, honey, vitamins, reducing the amount of sexuality in my life, entertainment, some baby steps, some larger steps. But yeah, the food is so so important, clothing matters too, environment, music, everything is so so important. Can you be like a stubborn bull and just say it’s all in the mind nothing else matters just meditate and you will get enlightened? Sure and you probably can. Is that 10x harder and creates many problems in life? Also yes.
-
I think my mind is feeling sharper, clearer, not only because I enjoy pleasures less, but because of that diet. Just watched a video of Sri Sri Gurudaya where he says how food affects the mind, where a saint ate something different and then he stole silverware, just to illustrate how what you eat changes your mind, and that's so true. When you eat psychedelics, your mind changes a lot, so it's so important to manage what you eat. In The Course in Miracles, some teachers have this reductionist approach that it's all in the mind, it doesn't matter what you eat, but that's just experientially not true, like it matters so so much, just so much. Your whole system changes, your mind changes, psychedelics are the best example of this. I know they would say that, oh, you're just seeing witnesses to your desire to awaken, and I mean, okay, it's still the wisest thing to do, and it still changes your mind and your body. If it was all in the mind, wouldn't David Hofmeister be thin and his body look healthy? If it was all in the mind, no, no, no, food does have an effect. So does the environment, so does the clothes you wear, the food you consume, how you dress, what you watch. There's a reason why Ananda Ma, Satguru and other saints care so much, there's a reason why there's Ayurveda and this whole yogic science. It's not just all in the mind, the mind is very important, but there are many other important things as well.
-
The way you dress does create a specific vibe around you, a frequency, an aura, and you get identified with that aura. That's how you feel. So when I dress extremely stylish, I feel like a rap star. I listen to that type of music. I feel better than others. I feel prideful. I am arrogant. So clothing is very important to keep your ego in check. I'm getting rid of all of my clothing now, just keeping a few simple, natural fiber items of light colors that aren't extremely stylish. They don't even look bad. Just oversized white t-shirts and stuff like that.

Every single physical pleasure is an antithesis to God, perfumes, even music in the end, is a pleasure that has to be let go of, it's a thing that zaps your energy, it's a limit unto God's love, I'd say that it can be used in a positive way, but even that in the end is seen as an obstacle. So every single pleasure, perfume, sex, entertainment, food, every single thing is an obstacle to God, they definitely 100% have to be let go of if you want to get enlightened. Those things, those pleasures are chains that bind you to this damned hellhole.
-
Just after restricting sensual pleasures to this extent, I already began to see the positive effects of divine love coming into my awareness, so whoever says that you don't have to restrict your pleasures, you don't have to let go of this world to come back to God, is a damned fool. I tested it many times and it’s the only way to God.

I have to completely and utterly lose all hope in this world. There will never be a relationship that will make me happy and fulfilled. I will never have a good job. I will never have a lot of money. There is nothing, nothing at all, Jesus says, in this world that will bring you lasting joy. There is not a single road here that will not turn into tears. Everything here is the creation of ego, of the devil, and everything here will hurt me. The only escape, the only option, is to let go of all the pleasures of this world, focus on transcending the mind and this dream and awakening all else's foolishness. Fuck Ken Wapnick. He says that you don't have to let go of specific pleasures. That's not fucking true. Literally, Jesus says that you have to let go of pleasures of the world.

Here are the differences between Sri Sri Gurudev and Jesus in A Course in Miracles. First of all, Sri Sri Gurudev doesn't know that life is a dream. He is coming back here to supposedly save people. He doesn't understand that this is all an illusion. Besides that, he offers a lot of useful insights. He doesn't understand this overarching metaphysical truth which changes everything. Jesus is also more advanced in his understanding of what this world, this universe is. He looks at this world very very negatively. He offers an escape from this illusion. Gurudev would never say that this world was made as an attack on God, that you have to let go of pleasures because you have to escape the slaughterhouse. He doesn't say that this is a place where thirsty creatures come to die. He doesn't also really say that you have to go, oh, well, that's not really true. He does talk about going beyond the intellect, but he doesn't really say it so eloquently. I think there is a difference in levels, where Jesus is a true, true master and Gurudev still has work to do, but he has become a spiritual superstar, so he's stuck, he can't really change, he thinks that he's at the end.
-
Again, I see that this place is a slaughterhouse, this world. Jesus says in A Course in Miracles that the Teacher of God does not feel loss when giving up the pleasures of the world, because who would look kindly upon a slaughterhouse? What he really means is that you should use your commitment to let go of pleasures, knowing that pleasures of this world are the chains that bind you to it. And who are you bound to? What are you bound to? You are bound to a slaughterhouse, a place of suffering, death, and decay, a world that was created as an attack on God. A world where the Son of God suffers, has to work, is beaten and bitten. So letting go of pleasures is a thing the Teacher of God does gladly, without any fearing of sacrifice, because what you are truly letting go of is this whole world of death decay. So when you are wise and you know that all pleasures are what's keeping you here, so I will gladly let go of them, because I don't want to be in this hellhole anymore.

to realize Self alot of energy is needed. All pleasure enjoyment zaps energy - from perfumes to sex to computer. Yoga is the preservation of energy. Foolishness is the enjoyment of pleasures.

I do have negative sex karma. I'm very addicted to it as well. In order to heal that karma, I have to let it go. But I will do it in baby steps. I will first lessen the frequency of it, and then let it go completely. And then I will sit in that inner resistance, that bad feeling brought about by the missing out on the sexual experience. Just like the Gurudev talked about, when you stop drinking coffee, you have withdrawals. That's your coffee karma. The same with sex. When you stop it, negative emotions come up, and you have to sit with it and let it burn you. He literally uses the words, let it burn you, let your desires burn you, in another video. And that seems right. That's how you heal that karma. By simply being with it and not engaging in the activity. And then, after a year or two or three, you get a partner and sexuality happens. Good. But now you're not craving it. It doesn't gather karma. Just observe it happen. Baby steps. Gently.

uuu so clear! Loved the explanation with coffee karma. So how do you dissolve karma? By stopping the addiction and then experiencing out the attraction to it - that's the burning of the karma - the mental impression is being washed away by meditation. This way, Karma is being dissolved and you are coming closer to a pure state of mind with no karma - and in that state of mind you don't have to reincarnate - you are pure - no more desires in your mind.

If you think negatively of urself ur miserable and if u think positive u are miserable, because now u are arrogant. So true, when I think very positively about myself I feel arrogant and miserable. What to do, then? Gurudev Sri Sri says surrender them to God - your positive and negative qualities. Then, your positive ones grow by surrendering them and positive ones are let go of. Very insightful, very helpful. Each teacher has things to teach. Thank you.

Increasing vibrations might me more important than I thought. Psychedelics increase them incredibly high quickly, and in those states everything is different - your IQ, emotions, perception, intuition - everything. If vibrations are what make you evolve, then it's ultra important to focus on raising them with every little thing, from music to food to exercise to clothing to meditation to thoughts, etc.

from: https://www.artofliving.org/us-en/yoga/beginners/brahmacharya-yamas-celibacy#:~:text=I see celibacy as a,then also this happens automatically.” I find these words of Dr. Swami Shankardevananda Saraswati of Bihar School of Yoga greatly insightful and practical: “Brahmacharya is more an attitude of mind towards all sensual objects, its literal meaning being turning of the mind towards the absolute, or God-consciousness and, therefore, away from sensual indulgence. It implies that, in the perfected state, when we are absorbed in the highest consciousness, the bliss and knowledge gained wipe out the craving for sexual and sensual activity because it is a better, more fulfilling state.” -------- Be intentional: Creating an intention for brahmacharya, and then surrendering the intention to the higher power, will help it to manifest. Organically and patiently allow it to grow and spread into all areas of indulgence in your life, rather than forcefully controlling and manipulating any sensual or sexual desires. Love this: When we start to let go of our impulses for excess, whether that’s in shopping, food, sex, drugs, TV, work, social media, gadgets, gossiping, whatever it is that we like to indulge in or obsess over, then we help create inner space to connect with the higher self and progress towards brahmacharya. Take baby steps, one at a time. Become aware of your tendencies, choose one of your excesses, and work towards moderation. Taking on more creative challenges, observing your diet and eating in moderation, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, taking cold baths, singing soulful chants, spending time in prayerful reflection, or contemplative journaling: all these can help curb your impulses to indulge or obsess. Understanding and practicing all the 5 Niyamas—Saucha (cleanliness), Santosha (contentment), Tapas (penance), Svadhyaya (self-study), and Ishvara Pranidhana (devotion to a higher power)—can be extremely useful. For yogis seeking the highest potential of yoga, Brahmacharya gives us a chance to unleash our creative energy, to remain soaked in the divine presence, to move into infinity or supreme consciousness (brahman), and thus find a way to fulfill the greatest and finest desire of all—the desire to connect with the unchanging reality. It also provides us with practical, positive ways to refine our senses. It puts

Oh, and definately same with music. Music has a huuuuuge impact on the vibrational field. Sacral music is magical, uplifts vibrations and gets you closet to the big boy aka God.

Linen is a bit bothersome, organic cotton might even be the best. Organic cotton it is. Exercise and light food too. Everything sattvic. Just wise to do https://isha.sadhguru.org/en/wisdom/article/why-organic-clothing-benefits-of-organic-cotton

looked at what he says about exercise, and fun photos and videos of him at the gym popped up: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DII0B05znQm/ In terms of fashion, I think its similar to brahmachari, and food, and all other things of the world -- they do have an affect on your vibrational field. Like these days, when I wear ultra stylish drip, I walk around listening to rap, feeling cool, feeling powerful, confident, but there's also heaviness, pride, darkness. Interesting how clothing empowers a specific state of mind. I think the best thing to do is to follow the steps of sages - wearing loose, bright, cotton clothing -- it imbues your aura with that feeling, you become ab it more Divine - light, pure, natural. Although I am still somewhat attracted to darkness, style, pride, heaviness. It's like an addiction a little bit, but I should stop. He also says that the best fashion is a smile. Anyway, overall, probably the best thing to do, to live like, is to focus on high-vibrational environment, clothing, food, exercise, health, sacral music, meditation, silence -- just a holistic perspective, not just be silent, meditate, but also incorporate all those other things that align and help to awaken. ---- During psychedelic trips I clearly saw that it's all energy vibrating and different frequencies, and higher, pure frequencies are the best environment to be in. You can shift your life more towards them and all will be better - how you feel, people will like you more, better health, easier meditation, maybe even more creativity and better finances.

Question - Gurudev, What is Brahmacharya? How can I follow Brahmacharya when there are so many distractions around? Gurudev Sri Sri - 'Brahma' means infinity. ‘Charya' means moving in infinity. That means the state of mind that is focused on the whole (infinity) -in such a mind there is no possessiveness, there is no lust, there is no greed, none of these negative impressions cloud the mind. That is what it exactly means. Abstinence is a result of this it's a part of it. See, when you have an examination or something very important to do, when your mind is in that, then the mind is not going to any part of the body, or focusing on some fascination, or sex. You are busy. Your mind is moving towards something bigger. Isn't that one's experience? Then you experience moments of Brahmacharya. If you are engaged in something, or when you are in deep love, then also this happens automatically. So Brahmacharya is a happening, it is not a practice per se. It is what happens when your consciousness expands. ____ So here, he says that you shouldn't really practice Brahmacharya, it should happen on itself, naturally, when you consciousness is wast and clear. That was my experience on psychedelics a few times - my mind was so wast, so clear that brahmacharya was natural.
