? ? .. you don't have to move to a cave or a monastery to go through the enlightenment process, you don't have to leave everything behind.. but you do have to go deep inside yourself ! and it is not easy because you end up facing your deepest most hidden pains and fears, the bright side is that you end up releasing all those pains and fears and you feel great afterwards. emotionally you feel lighter like an 11 year old. ( like a kid ). as for Leo I hope he doesn't leave us, I really enjoy his videos, great guy .. ?

Something similar happened to me. The only thing I would add is the sensation of light coming out of my body while I was in the I AM state. Light surrounded my body completely. I also cried in Joy. I had a very profound and beautiful sensation of being deeply loved. A few minutes after I couldn't stop laughing and crying. Absolutely beautiful.. -

jaja No. You definetly don't have to live in a cave or be a monk to become enlightened.. and yes there are shortcuts .. but there are several things (conditions) that need to be in place .. and certain skills that you need to develop.. first; you have to develop your ability to gradually reduce your thoughts to reach higher levels of mental clarity. What do I mean by this? Imagine your mind as a choppy sea, the surface is full of waves, big and small with riddles everywhere. Now imagine the same sea but early in the morning with no wind or tides affecting the surface. It looks almost like a perfect mirror. It can reflect light almost without distortions. Absolute clarity. The second thing you must develop is your ability to stay focused, still, in the present moment. To do this, in addition to a clear mind, you need a relatively low level of emotional stress in your life. Emotional stress is very powerful, it can take over your thoughts and can easily take you out of the present moment and into the realm of thoughts about the past and the future third; And as for the shortcut my advice is to meditate with music. sit down, close your eyes and focus your awareness and your feelings on the music. let go, like floating in a river letting yourself go with the stream, without resistance, in silence and in peace slowly going deeper and deeper inside myself. fourth: let your feelings guide you.. open your heart.

ramaji is right .. in my experience the I AM state has to come to you through your fellings. you can not "think" your way to it.. let me give you a tip.. I AM, as everything else in this universe, is a vibration of energy at a certain frecuency. I AM IS at a frecuency of pure love, joy and compasion. Combined ! .. So to experience the I AM state you need to become (tune in) with that frecuency. That is why some people say you must love yourself into enlightenment, because you literally have to be able to become love if you want to experience who you are ( I AM).- 9 replies

Before talking about what enlightenment IS I will talk about some of the misconceptions about enlightenment. First: Realizing the true nature of reality is NOT enlightenment. It is a consequence of enlightenment. In other words if you want to become enlightened your objective is not to realize the nature of reality your objective must be to realize your own nature, your own essence. Second: Enlightenment has nothing to do with the “dissolution” of Ego. This is a huge mistake or misunderstanding. Our ego is an intrinsic part of who we are as humans. In fact, an inevitable consequence of enlightenment is acceptance and a profound love for everything that is, including your ego. The answer is not rejection. The answer is love and compassion. What is true is that the ego slowly and naturally diminishes (becomes less important) as a consequence of enlightenment. But it must always be accepted as part of who we are. Third: It doesn't have to take decades or years of self contemplation to become enlightened. What is true is that certain conditions need to be in place for it to happen and you have to develop certain skills and that can take some time. Fourth: You can spend millions of hours trying to think yourself into enlightenment and you will never achieve enlightenment, praying will not help either. You must feel yourself into enlightenment. You must become who you are. Fifth: Enlightenment should never be a goal. It is not something you should try to achieve. Your goal should be to look deep inside yourself in full clarity and stillness and to stay present. And some other things that i will talk about later. Now what IS enlightenment.. Enlightenment is remembering and experiencing your essential (true) nature. The reason it is called enlightenment is because when it happens you become your true nature, you become pure awareness, pure love and pure light..- 9 replies

Friends.. First of all I want to thank Leo for creating this platform. It is an amazing opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from each other. Leo: I am a big fan. I enjoy your videos and have huge respect for you and what you are doing. Now, going into the subject of this forum.. If you want to experience enlightenment the first thing you need to do is understand what enlightenment IS and what it is not. This is a complex and very important subject so I will divide my explanation in a few sections. But first let me give you some background about myself and make a brief disclaimer. I am a regular guy. I have a beautiful family that I love profoundly, I studied in an IVY league school, I am a successful business executive and have been fortunate to travel around the world and learn many cultures. I don't live in a cave, I am not a monk, and I am not religious or dogmatic AT ALL. I have no agendas, I don't need and I am not interested in attention of any kind and I am not trying to convince anyone about anything. I don't believe or have faith in anything. Everything I say comes from my own experience. Not from a book or a teacher of any kind. In fact I have no teachers and I am not a member of any cult, religion or association. I don't claim to know all the mysteries of the universe. And I have never done drugs of any kind. Now, having said that. I AM interested in sharing my experience and what I learned. Not to convince you about my ideas but to spark your curiosity. It is an invitation to look inside yourselfs to find the answers. To find the truth. There is a lot of confusion out there.. it is very common to see people confuse enlightenment with the consequences of enlightenment. Let me explain.. Enlightenment is just a word to describe an experience and a process that is so profound and so beautiful that it dramatically changes the way you see yourself and everything around you. Enlightenment is not meant to be available only to a small group of lucky, fortunate or special people. Enlightenment is meant to experienced by everyone.- 9 replies

Let me give you another hint.. It's like hiding from a child the most delicious candy he can eat only to see how the child cries in joy when he finally finds it. -

Would you believe me if I told you ? You see .. I can tell you. But it wouldnt really help that much because to really know, you have to experience it.. but let me give you a hint. Why would you create an ilusion in the first place ? -
werlight replied to WickedIrish's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Everything that IS, is just one immense sea of awareness and light. The great illusion is that we all seem to be separate when in fact we are all connected. If you go deeper you realize that we are not only connected, we are actually just One. There is a reason for this illusion. It was actually designed this way on purpose. -

In my case the story began many years ago when I was twelve years old. It was a beautiful afternoon, the birds were singing loud and a light breeze was touching my face. I was walking down a walkway near the beach. For some reason I felt different that afternoon. A deep peace took over and I felt very alive. I was totally aware of everything that was going on around me and time seemed to slow down. Everything stood still. And then out of nowhere it suddenly happened. I turned around and my perception deepened even further. I looked at the trees, then I slowly turned and looked at the ocean then at the mountains and finally at the sky and suddenly out of nowhere a deep knowing invaded my entire being and a phrase I had never heard before came into my mind “We are one”. Somehow I knew that I was one with everything around me. At the same time the deepest feeling of love I had experienced filled my being. The feeling was so powerful, that I just stood there with tears in my eyes completely immersed in the present moment contemplating the beauty of everything around me. This deep knowing and feeling of love only lasted a few minutes but I remained with a feeling of peace and excitement during several weeks and I never forgot that wonderful experience. -

I agree. In my case I did not start meditating to solve any problems. Everything was actually great in my life. I started meditating because I had always known there was something deeper inside me (us) and I wanted to discover what it was. I guess I started with the right question. Who am I ? -
werlight replied to Ayla's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You are thinking too much my friend.. I almost got lost in your explanation, just relax and enjoy the beauty that IS. Have fun, ☀️☀️ -

Hi Ayla.. Yes. This urge exists in everyone. It is an urge to find the truth. It is a search for completeness. It is an urge to remember what we decided to forget but unconsciously already know. It is an urge to fulfill the promise we made ourselves: to remember the beauty that we ARE, to remember where we came from and in doing so return the beautiful gift of love we were given. Beautiful ! Great ! Don't take my word for it.. look inside yourself to find the truth.. that's the only place you will find it. Some advice.. First. Forget about everything you know, any knowledge that comes from outside yourself will only distract you. Second. Go deep inside yourself. The truth is not something for your mind to understand. It must be experienced, it is meant to be discovered. You must feel yourself into the truth not think yourself into the truth. Third. Open your heart.
