Hi there I hope you are not planning to become a suicide bomber and now you want to loose your fear of death. I know the feeling ... but you have nothing to worry about... The nature will do just fine without you * The fear you are having is constructed and conceptual only i.e. it's not in the present - you didn't swallow a poison and fighting with your death now...of course you know this I'm not trying to sway you from having this fear, because it carries a rare golden opportunity with it to realize: - how powerful and real our thinking can be and - also deceptive We know this because we can experiment with it. We can decrease or increase the fears even. In fact try this: Next time you are deep into your contemplation about death, go a bit deeper. Try to be even more rational and start asking questions: What if your concept of death is not so simple and subtle as you put it... What if it does not end so conveniently? What if this sooner means very soon ? What if this later means very old and alone, with some agonizing illness? What if you don’t get an opportunity to die in peace? What if you realize that your life was just a pile of suffering without true fulfilment ? Keep asking these format of questions... We as humans often speak of death as we are some kind of experts... as if we've been through it many times This shows that the fear itself can be manipulated and doesn't have permanence ... which should tell you that maybe sooner or later, or just before you die, you may not actually have that fear. You may be feeling like totally fulfilled and ready... You may even feel a bit pissed off with yourself for having that fear and wasting your time... quite possible. And if you want to rationalize about it? Then maybe put x instead of fear and replace it with some other concept (happiness for example) - this is kind of what some religions do The reason I said above that the fear of death carries a golden opportunity is because - you can ask yourself "what is it that I am doing NOW since life is so short" -
I have been wondering if there are any people here who had met someone ‘special’ and went into the relationship with all of their heart. Only later the whole thing didn’t work out... found another relationship, or got married and even had kids... And despite all of this they still think about the ‘special’ one?

Hey Ray just a bit of caution here... The strong determination sitting means you have to pay attention constantly to your body making sure that it is not moving even slightly… this is not the same as simply relaxing and thinking that your body is not gonna move anyway keeping it in check every now and then ... It's like when you're paying attention to your breathing but this time you pay attention on the body and you are making sure it's static. If you are really doing one hour of this then you are pretty advanced... -

I can’t but notice improvement in quality of Leo’s videos over time. If you watch at his videos from a year ago and compare it to very recent ones, you can clearly see better flow of ideas, better quality in general. I’m just wondering if this is through practice or there is some secret that he learnt recently.

check out this one Osho claims that you can live and perform quite well while meditating ... He probably predicted that you will ask this one day In fact he answers your question precisely here: -
I'd find it difficult to focus for 1hr + keep the flow of content He is pretty, pretteeey.... consistent
-
I probably drink more coffee than all of the people on this forum combined ... Not joking...

Leo actually said that in one of his videos that he purchased his tapes and that is how he got inspired to go into personal development... He refers to Tony in positive light quite a few times in his videos...

There is no reason to force yourself to be a virgin either. Sex is ok but if you are with the right person, which can take time. But hey Einstein had hundreds of women too. Naughty Naughty

Why don't we all go to Las Vegas and meet Leo?!

The pull of the cigarette addiction Today while I was driving to the library I had a good encounter with the presence of the pull. I’m talking about the bodily cravings for a cigarette. I tried to feel it and examine it, knowing that that it could not be more false for body to need this poison in order to sustain itself. Yet it was pulling like mad. It even generated panic, blood pressure and heart beats giving intense signals that something is not ok. What beast did you let in. Then I went to the shop and bought tobacco, but instead of smoking it straight away, I put it in the glove box of my car. And wanted to observe this falsity. Then it slowly went away. Felt a great relief. I knew that lighting a smoke would feel just like nothing, as having one after ten or more smokes. The ego (mind) is a funny, funny thing. It can go everywhere except the NOW. Fuck the mind. Who is the mind to know anything. It can’t do anything useful. It’s always in the past or future. Regretting and wishing for repetition, or craving and fearing. Why is it better tomorrow or a month from now, than right NOW?
