A good example of the limitations of rationalism.

See, Tyson thinks he’s being clever, rigorous, and logical here. Mr Scientist Man. But he’s actually saying biased human slop. God doesn’t care about human feelings about hurricanes and volcanoes. This is only a problem for an ego that believes in death. But his big brain has never considered this possibility. And if I told it to him, he would use that big brain to invent some scientific excuse to not take it seriously.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson is a kid who dressed up as a scientist for Halloween and never took off the costume. It’s an act. But he thinks it’s real.

The only reason Tyson is so clever is because he’s never spoken to a person like me. I would demolish his entire worldview. But he seems impressive to laymen who don’t understand what science is or any epistemology or ontology.
