Starfleet Academy Woke Disaster

I despise anti-woke media critics, but Starfleet Academy truly is a wokeness dumpster fire. Not because characters can’t be gay or black or female, but because the writers and showrunners of Star Trek are creatively bankrupt hacks who try to compensate for their lack of writing skill with vapid LGBTQ political activism. Under Alex Kurtzman the writing in Star Trek has become an abomination. But Kurtzman and co. are so blind to this that they think fans are criticizing them out of homophobia, misogyny, and racism. Of course there is some degree of that online, but no, the elephant in the room is that the writing is puerile shit, because they have the wrong priorities: political activism over serious, intelligent story. It is astonishing that such bad writers can keep getting re-hired and promoted in Hollywood. A sick group-think has crept its way into Hollywood and the corporate world which believes that diversity activism is more important than quality art and entertainment. No! Good art is not activism and it never will be. You cannot create great art or entertainment if you put political activism first. This is corrupting art and entertainment and they don’t understand that. They think they can have it both ways. They are blinded by identity politics.

I’m not a Star Trek fan, but if I was, I would be furious over what Alex Kurtzman and wokeness has done to the Star Trek franchise. This is an example of Stage Green going too far. There is a delusional Stage Green group-think that permeates Hollywood, Disney, and the leadership of most multi-national corporations. And this feeds into monsters like Trump getting reelected because normies do not have enough mental nuance to distinguish healthy Green from toxic Green. This kind of political activism ends up backfiring as normal people just want art and entertainment without cringe, hamfisted gender politics. Excessive Green turns Blue & Orange normies against healthy Green entirely, which is tragic. This is why Jordan Peterson has the massive following he does.

No, don’t worry, I have not turned anti-woke. I am just being balanced and calling out bias and corruption on all sides. I have criticized conservatives more than enough, to the point where I have nothing left to say. Anti-woke critics are still wrong AND modern Star Trek is shit. Both can be true simultaneously. Just because Star Trek has turned into woke shit does not mean MAGA is correct. People have a hard time drawing this distinction, which is why I made this post.

This is tone-deaf and totally inappropriate for a medieval RPG video game. But the writers are too woke to understand that. There is a kind of woke self-absorption/narcissism where the political activist can’t help but shove their agenda into places it doesn’t belong, which makes it cringe, awkward, and off-putting. People don’t buy and play RPG video games to deal with gender identity problems. Now, the wokesters will respond with, “But art is supposed to be about self-expression and challenging norms”. Films and video games are pop-art, commercial art. This is entertainment first and foremost that needs to be FUN and needs to SELL. Sure, you can make your art about lesbian, nonbinary, queer, feminist, trans, communist ideology, but then you should expect to go bankrupt because way too few people buy films and games for that reason. Remember, you have the right to make any kind of art you want, and rest of us have the right to not buy it and make you broke. Woke gender activists grossly overestimate how popular their gender ideas are. 95% of people do not care and you cannot make them care by shoving it in their face. All of this LGBTQ stuff is very fringe, but they don’t see that because they live in a Green echochamber.

You know the surest way for Democrats to lose the next presidential election? Shove LGBTQ issues into the next Elder Scrolls game. Make the Dragonborn a nonbinary queer with pink hair. That’s what makes normies hate Stage Green and vote for MAGA. Normies hate it when you fuck with their hamburgers and circuses. Knowing that is politics. Trump knows this, meanwhile wokesters are too high on their own supply.

Stage Green will dismiss what I’m saying here as just LGBTQ-phobia — which is a mistake. Read the fucking room. Recognize that you are a fringe minority and that does not give you the right to make the majority bend over backwards for you.

It is so tricky to strike a healthy balance between the conservative reactionary chuds, the Green fart-sniffing utopians, and the ball-less milquetoast centrists. If you side with any one, you go wrong. How can right, left, and center all be wrong?! Well, somehow they manage it! Lol. Truth is One, falsehood is infinite.

Is flaunting your queerness conformity? Yes!

Is blaming your lack of creative talent on homophobia conformity? Yes!

Is corporations acting like they care about queers conformity? Yes!
