Looks-Maxxing Foolishness
By Leo Gura - March 12, 2026
Latest example of conformist stupidity. It’s astonishing how powerful conformity is.
Young people don’t have enough wisdom to understand that this is wrong:
This is a mental disorder. This is a disorder of self-love.
You have to love yourself however you look. There’s no other healthy option.
One of the beautiful things about animals vs humans is that at least animals don’t worry about their physical appearance. Emulate animals in this regard, not humans. The less you care about your physical appearance the stronger you are. Counter-intuitive, eh? Worrying about your physical appearance makes you fragile and takes focus away from being Good.
The insidious thing about this kind of conformity is that the people doing it honestly believe they are non-conformist. That’s how self-deceptive conformity is. Trying to maximize how others see you is conformity. True non-conformity here would be not caring how others see you at all.
This is what I mean by unconscious survival.
Obsessing over your physical appearance isn’t beautiful, it’s ugly. Self-love is beautiful. That’s how you know it’s right.
Note: I am not saying looks don’t matter. Looks matter a lot. The question is, why do you care that they matter?

Note: This is a perfect example of toxic Stage Orange.
