John Lennox makes many good arguments here against materialist science.

However, since he is a Christian he still fundamentally has no idea what God is.

So he makes the following errors:

• Language is not fundamental to God. God does not create using language. Language is a 2nd order thing, not a 1st order thing. Being does not and cannot depend on language.
• The Universe must obviously be self-created. God IS Self-Creation. Self-Creation is not nonsense, anything but Self-Creation is nonsense, since only Self exists. God must be Self-Created since nothing else exists but God.
• Yes, the Universe does come from Nothing. That doesn’t contradict God, that IS God! If something comes from Nothing that is the Miracle Christians are looking for.
• God is Nothing, obviously.
• God includes rationality but also transcends rationality.
• Christianity is not needed to do science. But of course God is needed to do science because God is science.
• It’s not just that we don’t know what energy or gravity is, you can’t know what anything is because what everything is, is Infinity/God, and Infinity is Undefined.
• He is holding God as something other than himself.

So this video illustrates how much Christianity will limit you. Christians are fundamentally incapable of understanding God. But, they are right that God is real and science is dumb.

What is the solution to the God puzzle? Christians and scientists are both ignorant, confused, and self-deceived so deeply that it’s impossible to cure them short of death. You must be willing to admit that you’re wrong. And none of them are willing.
