Falsehood Deserves To Die

An important aspect of the commitment to truth is to make a rule with yourself that you will not defend false things. As soon as you see that something is false, allow it to die. This is the opposite of what most people do, they cling to falsehood by any means possible. This is wrong. If something you love is false, have the courage to let it die. It will hurt in the short-term but it is healthy for you in the long-term. The more falsehood you let die the better and healthier your life becomes.

Contemplate: “What falsehood have I been defending?”
And then visualize yourself letting it die.
