Beware Of The Toxic Life Purpose

By Leo Gura - August 14, 2020

Even though purpose is completely relative, arbitrary, and imaginary, the human creature needs purpose.

People who don’t have a positive sense of life purpose will not just sit idly by enjoying life, they will get depressed and recruited and radicalized into a toxic life purpose.

A lot of the “evil” committed in the world is done by people who were not shown how to develop a positive and conscious sense of life purpose, so they adopted a toxic one. If you don’t consciously develop a positive and loving life purpose, the default position will be that you get sucked into a selfish and unconscious one.

It happened with Hitler. It happens very often with white nationalists. It happens with Islamic and Christian fundamentalists. And it’s now infected the American government:

Idle hands do the devil’s work.
