Are Jedi Good Or Evil?

By Leo Gura - February 20, 2026

The following video inspired me to write about the difference between good and evil.

The guy with the glasses in the video is trying to use post-modern relativism to argue that the Jedi are evil. Haha! He has no idea what Good is! Which shows you how dangerous post-modern thinking can be. Isn’t it amazing that you can use post-modernism to convince yourself that Palpatine, Dark Vader, and Darth Maul were the good guys while Luke, Yoda, and Obi-Wan were the bad guys? LOL! Lucas made the bad guys in his story so cartoonishly evil that one of them is painted like a fucking devil, yet post-modernists find a way to make the Jedi the evil ones.

The people who write Star Wars made some serious mistakes in how they write and depict Jedi — because they don’t understand what Good is. For example, in Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, George Lucas depicted Qui-Gon Jinn as using a Jedi mind-trick to trick Watto the junk dealer into accepting credits that were useless to him. He also used the Force to manipulate dice to win a bet. This is not Jedi-like behavior. For Jedi to be good, they cannot lie, they cannot deceive, they cannot manipulate, they cannot trick others. That’s the Dark Side! The entire point of being a Jedi is to be aligned with Truth, because Truth is Good. But George Lucas and Disney Star Wars writers don’t understand that. So they create corrupt depictions of Jedi. Being a Jedi is not about using light-sabers or cool force powers. Being a Jedi is about being constantly aligned with Truth. That’s why being a Jedi is so hard and rare and requires so much discipline and training.

Why are the Sith or Night Sisters evil? Because they lie! Because they are not truthful. If the Jedi are also depicted to lie, then they are no better than the Sith. The one thing a Jedi should never do is lie or bend the truth. Jedi mind-tricks are a big mistake. Jedi should not use mind-tricks. Mind-tricks are a Dark Side power.

From decades of existential contemplation, I have such a deep understanding of Good that I can be a consultant on how to write proper Jedi. You cannot write a Jedi unless you have direct consciousness of Truth/God/Good. Disney could hire me to tell them how to write perfectly Good Jedi. Not because I am Good per se, but because I understand what Good is.

See? Disney writers cannot even write Jedi properly because they are too corrupt, too evil. An evil person cannot write a good person. A Disney writer does not understand that Good is Truth. Which is one of the reasons why Disney has turned Star Wars into shit. Disney doesn’t give a fuck about truth. Which is why Disney is corrupt and evil. Well, there go my chances of being hired by Disney. Disney’s Star Wars writers are godless post-modernists now, which is why they can’t write proper Jedi. Jedi is not a post-modern notion, which leaves Disney writers flummoxed.

Actualized.org teaches you how to become a real Jedi, beyond the fairy-tales. I can’t promise you force lightning, but I can promise you God.

Note: Why are Jedi supposed to be celibate? To not allow survival to distract them from their commitment to Truth. Jedi are servants of Truth.

Note: By the way, Lucas got the midichlorians exactly right. Spiritual ability is largely genetic. That is oddly realistic.

Note: For Jedi to be good, they cannot be indoctrinating children. They have to facilitate children in a truth-seeking journey without forcing truth upon them. If a child doesn’t want to seek truth the Jedi should not force him into it. Being a Jedi cannot be following norms or a guilt trip, it has to be consciously chosen. If the Jedi facilitate genuine truth-seeking in children, that makes them good. This is what distinguishes Jedi from a cult.
