Treating People As Commodity

3 posts in this topic

It's breaking my heart and my soul this vicious cycle that humanity has got itself into. Harsh reality is that we do use people as commodity. We take care of them only when we can expect something back, or only when they are able to meet our need.

There's no shinier example for that than when we feel hurt and abandoned. We want to rush and find another soul to connect to in order to cure the wound of our soul. Yet the latter won't likely be cured by that, not by jumping from person to person in order to find some solace.

When will we ever start growing and treating others well rather than hurting, and abandon them?  even if that meant giving up some control of our life that's fleeing anyways.

When will we take it seriously that we need to stop acting selfish and in control of our lives, while we hurt people left and right and abandon them cuz they don't meet our criteria?
