Actually it was quite relaxed. Sam did a good job.

In contrast Packman was not so good I think he was a bit too much bad faith. Kyle was too nice so it was not interesting.

Sam is the most reasonable and grounded progressive on YT. Clear and solid.

Although his understanding of Jordan Peterson is really poor.

Jordan's grift level is sometimes top high. It is ridiculous when he talk about Islam for example. He says he does not know much about it. What kind of an intellectual are you then? If you are not informed about Islam you are not an intellectual period.

Here's Destiny's reaction of this podcast, share your thoughts:

Also, @Leo Gura, I wouldn't be too quick in calling Sam Seder a level headed progressive:

Although Destiny's take here is a bit biased and self preferential. It is because due to the differences in Spiral Dynamics stage of development, cognitive and moral development, personality types and traits, life experiences, other lines of development in areas of life, and different ideological indoctrinations from upbringing. Also, Sam and Destiny had a debate in the past and it was pretty contentious, which may have skewed his reaction here to be a bit more biased against Sam. Also, Destiny is a staunch capitalist and Nihilist Determinist, so there's that worldview filtering and interpreting things.

Now, as much as I lately don't like Destiny as he's a very manipulative person in his sex and work relationships, he's technically right here in terms of Sam's argument in this podcast. Again, I do think that he's smoke screening here, hiding this behind logic, debate and arguments, when really he hated paying higher taxes in California LOL.

Sam occasionally has bad takes.

Destiny is pretty reasonable in his takes too, his manner is just less mature. I like many of Destiny's positions. He does of a good job of cutting through some of the Progressive/Green group-think and dogma.

I like that neither of them are socialists but still very progressive. The more socialist a Progressive is, the more detached from reality their takes tend to be. Both Sam and Destiny are practical.
