Female spiritual teachers

8 posts in this topic

I found this article from Osho but I do not agree with it https://www.oshoteachings.com/osho-on-female-enlightened-masters-few-female-masters/

Eckhart Tolle says women are closer to enlightenment than men

I like Byron Katie, Lisa Cairns, Ariana Reflects, Gangaji, and Anandamayi Ma

I have also heard of Pema Chodron, Isira, Miranda Macpherson, Katie Davis. Amoda Maa. I think Maher Baba's teacher was a woman called Hazrat Babajan

I think I know why you don't agree with that, but I might be wrong.

Can I ask you why?

Because of all the names I mentioned if they are enlightened and they are women that means he is wrong

Seems like Osho's few on the matter came from a stage blue traditionalist perspective, even though he denies that in the text.
