How Feelings Block You From Absolute Truth

4 posts in this topic

Feelings are one half of truth. They are like a Tidal Wave, a Tornado, a Hurricane! They can consume you, drown you, dissolve you!!

Feelings obscure your vision, they reduce your ability to observe what is. Feelings can give tunnel vision, they can make you only see what confirms the feeling being represented.

People who are feelings based climb an uphill battle trying to obtain truth. Because they are consumed by feeling, any information that brings up negative feelings will be rejected regardless of its veracity.

The Feelings person cannot help this, since they are Feelings based asking them to take in negative emotion is akin to asking them to jump into a raging river voluntarily. It feels like suicide and who wants to kill themselves?

People who naturally suppress their emotion cannot understand. Unconsciously they get it, but consciously they don't. For them they would rather stay in the logical world away from a deep connection to emotion, because they too fear the ferocious spontaneous expression of the world of emotion.

For feeling people to advance to the truth, you will have to drop your identity to your feelings. Until then, you will never see things clearly and will forever be locked in your point of view.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

And for those who naturally suppress, what would be the advice?

Reality is basically a feeling (which is perception) and a thought. That's it. So simple, there are no other components in it. Even a thought is a feeling because it is a sensation.

Both people who suppress and who do not suppress feelings, feel the same at a different degree. Those who suppress, feel less because they can shift their attention to something else. They do not allow the full-blown show to expend. However, one day the mechanism won't work, and they are going to face everything they have been suppressing for years. I would not mess with a "spring" since it is dangerous and you are going to have an effect, it will hurt.

Those who do not suppress are closer to the Being because they allow the flow of pain/or pleasure naturally run its course through them.

You are alive because you feel. Tomorrow you will be motivated to get up from the bed because you feel, you are here on forum because you feel....etc.

Feelings are tool to pave your direction in life. If you are very authentic and allow them to guide you, feelings can be a compass. You won't fool your feelings, they are a good detector of lies and manipulation, reaction to your actions and words. Deep down you will always know because your feelings will never deceit you.

It is all about the degree of your honestly with yourself and how deep you are courageous to go to find out the Truth.

Mind is rational because it wants to survive, feeling is irrational because it wants to morph and transcend.

Mind is male and feeling is a female. They are one.

Feeling is a death, and a thought is a life.

For thinking people to advance to the truth, you will have to drop your identity with your mind. Until then, you will never feel things clearly and will forever be locked in your point of view.

Feelings are leading you to the Ultimate Truth.

Only when feelings are intertwined with thoughts they obscure your vision. That's what beliefs are.

Feelings by themselves and thoughts by themselves have no power to obscure your vision. It's when they're in a bundle and unconscious.
