Planet Earth is imagined by your Mind. Until you understand this, you are a fool. And no self-help guru is intelligent enough to understand this.

You just took one tasty bite

out of delicious nothingburger.

You truly have a talent, alright?!

Naming it would be vulgar.

Nobody has achieved anything

by watching self help videos.

A peasant can't become the king

by not moving his bloody bones!

You've contradicted yourself BTW,

I'll let you figure how and where.

Not going to in my bed lay

pretending to share your weakness and care

As many an self-help user

You act like a self abuser

Perhaps if you yield

and inwards you healed

You'd feel like less of a loser

self-love ≠ Self-Love

This guy talks about people with depression. Actualized.org is specifically not a place to heal your depression.

It's stated in the User Guidelines.

And I agree with him. If you are depressed it can be because you are too much concerned with your own life and don't care enough about others. Which again Self-Love fixes but there are other ways to do it.

@universe I get your pov regarding actualized.org and depression.

The issue for me is where else should people with depression go?

People with deep mental health issues, imo, resonate on a level of consciousness that is very easily manipulated by all sorts of exploitative bad actors. If folks with depression leave actualized, they may end up in a darker place. Out of the frying pan and into the fire as they say.

Perhaps you're right and perhaps not

I find emotions way too unstable.

Over my actions only real control I got

only stable things can I enable!

Control is an illusion

You are run by subconscious thought

Therefore the only conclusion

Is the inner work that must be sought

What I mean to say by this? Simply

people have become too absorbed in self.

While the ultimate happiness (and you surely agree with me)

comes when no self is held.

In order to have 'no self', a lot of inner work is required

No matter how much happiness inside have you,

changing lives of others?! Oh boy!

I agree. A lot of these self help gurus focus on success for oneself while belittling others.

Maybe reality is imaginary

and I am just a damn fool.

But I just feel that service to society is obligatory,

and with that, I'm leaving! Cool?

In order to be of service to society, you have to do your inner work. Otherwise, your inner demons will manifest and corrupt your outer work. Instead of helping others, you will unintentionally make things worse.

I enjoyed the poetic exchange tho

Just because your theory is better than others it’s still theory… don’t need to claim it’s a whole ‘nother category called “deep philosophy”

Breathing isn’t practical, but getting three jobs and working 80 hours a week is practical.  He has another video on not going to college.  This sounds like another offering from the Andrew Tate “hot air, hand-waving, and high valued man” lineage.

What is winning? What is losing?

Happiness is relative

Let every soul live the life of their choosing

No need to be so negative

I agree with you,

My main point is that this hypermasculine self guru,

Exploits feelings of inadequacy to sell you their product while denoucing inner work too.

If you follow these gurus, you will feel inadequate no matter what you do.

Of course they can go everywhere.

You can also try to climb a wall with a broken shoulder. But the focus should be on healing.

If you are depressed and can't get out of bed then it's hard to have a healthy relationship or build a business.

Not saying that you can't or that it is not possible but my first instict would be to focus on healing first and then face the other challanges.

But maybe for someone a challange is just what they needed to get out of depression.

Everyone is different and to my (albeit limited) understanding of depression it can take on various forms as well.

In my experience, what can make depression worse is when the person just focuses on themselves. If you say to them don't worry you don't have to do anything just heal yourself, that can actually make it worse as they can wallow in the depression and build a habit of not doing anything.

If they at the very least have habits like working out, playing sports, going for walks, helping others etc, it's very hard for the depression to affect them as much. Healing itself can be done on a deeper more intentional way, maybe with a therapist. But building good habits in the mean time is a big factor.

My eyes are glued to my screen

But I’m not looking at memes

Just a buncha forum posters

Its nothing like a roller coaster

cause it’s boring as hell

like I’m sitting in a cell.

waiting for my time

To shine, but I’m impatient

my hearts vacant

no one to blame but

There’s stil so much shame

Even though I say I’m free

I’m still not kind to me

Layin in my sheets

one day I’ll be on cloud nine

i’ll drink poison in the meantime

Scrollin online
