Elon Musk Twitter Trainwreck Mega-Thread

Obviously sexual exploitation happens and should be policed. It's just hard to identify.

BTW, Musk disbanned Twitter's comittee of experts who advised on child exploitation and other forms of abuse. Now he's flying by the seat of his pants. The notion that Musk understands the nuances of child exploitation is laughable.

Yeah, it really looks like Twitter is really headed towards a major disaster.

About this whole 'hate-speech' thing - we like to believe that our side isn't engaging in hate-speech. That 'it's only the other side that does this, we never do it'.

By this point, it's very obvious to me that the mainstream hates the straight, cis, white guy. Will Leftist Twitter ban the haters of this group? No! We like to be 'against hate-speech', but we will apply that selectively.

The worst problem with the Left right now, is that they're making 'freedom' a bad word. And compliance and blind obedience and submission to authority, a good thing. That's 'socialism' in a nutshell, essentially. Use the government to do everything. And 'free speech' is a very bad thing! How will we get a word in if you get to speak?! So, what we have to do, is silence you. (Because we're full of shit. And when the truth has its day, our bullshit gets drowned out. Bad for us.)

This prevents a civil, level-headed discourse relative to social-issues. And it furthers the separation between the Left and the Right. Favoring the elites, of course. Cuz their job hinges on you being divided. If the world becomes peaceful and free, government isn't needed anymore!! Authority isn't needed anymore.

While I don't disagree that activist demonize white guys, as when I was in college in one of my classes the acronym WORM was used which means White Old Rich Men. So yeah the bias and demonization is inherent. But if you understand WHY they do it, it actually makes sense. Is it justified? From their perspective it is. Just like from your perspective it isn't justified. The truth is, we should push for a healthy calling out of both sides. Because both sides are hypocrites and until they realize this....they will fight forever.

But yeah censorship doesn't work, it has never worked and it will never work. All of human history has literally told this story. I don't realize why people haven't figured this out.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

Elon Musk on Dave Chappelle’s show being strongly booed by the audience, who would have guessed it? He is used to having a troop of dickriders on Twitter, but out of that context, other common people spoke. Twitter is a big bubble, but still a bubble. Precisely we know for certain that Chappelle’s audience is not particularly woke, as the man had some controversies with his jokes about the trans community very recently, so those were already filtered in there.

The original video posted on Twitter was removed. What about that? The freedom of speech absolutist is really fast at removing a video that harms his image.

He says in another tweet that technically 90% of the people were clapping and %10 booing. I hightly doubt it, it seems like the majority in the video booed him.

You don’t know if it’s him removing the video. This isn’t “the people” it’s a comedy crowd in SF, places like those are full of liberals who uncritically accept any mainstream narrative, like Russiagate and anti-Rittenhouse they have uncritically accepted the current anti Elon Musk push by the mainstream media.

N-not going to lie, this is disappointing so far. I don’t see how fueling conceptually hostile contents in the name of free-speech creates some kind of effective hivemind. Musk is bragging about more or less effective forms of witch hunting (i.e. FTX/SBF drama, etc) instead of opening up the platforms to spiritual culture, psychedelics or simply unrepressed messages of love. We already have websites where people are free to be as stupid as they want, and nothing interesting comes out of them.

However, Twitter’s set of features and anti-bots measures used to be so bad it’s still possible for the platform to be financially successful in spite of the ignorant policies, since it remains a monopoly when it comes to uncluttered global communications. There are also rumors about some potential TwitterCoin or something. Facebook wasn’t successful at this with Libra, I don’t know how it will work out but it would likely be a desperate move if actual.

Musk's arrival to twitter is awesome.

He brought back Tate and is honouring his commitment to free speech, very needed in these times.

He has honoured one of the top libertarian values; a free and open society.

@Danioover9000 Sure,

in a story he shares how:

He makes really good friends with a trans comedian. “She” was one of Dave’s biggest fans. She laughed at all his jokes and at the trans jokes even harder.

She said at one point “I just want people to realize I do t care if I am Trans. I just want people to see I am having a human experience”

(True story). After performing with Dave Chappelle the trans community bullied this trans person so hard 2 weeks later she committed suicide. Dave chappele started a fund for the trans persons daughter she can access when she is 24. Dave said at the end…

”Young lady, I knew your father. He was a wonderful woman”

I wasn't judging his jokes and I'm not going to. The point about mentioning this is that Elon was blaming wokeism for the booing but it's unlikely those wokes were present in Dave Chappelle's show because they had a problem with one of his shows very recently.

This or Elon Musk is disliked by much more people than those considered wokes.

“Woke” doesn’t exist.  It is a made up term in the way that right wing media (and their supporters) uses it.  It is a made up spaghetti monster they use to keep their own in line.

Woke is and was always an AAVE term that basically means being aware of injustices in society against black people.

It was hijacked by right wing media (mostly whites) as a form of identifying opposite beliefs from their own.  They use it to point to black people, minorities, poor people, LGBTQ people, anybody who is oppressed or anybody that contradicts right winger’s beliefs — they lump everyone in the same camp.  The irony is that they themselves are showing everyone where they fall in their beliefs by how they are using the term “woke”….lol.

Musk’s big problem is that he believes the Twitter right wing lite™️ bubble he always finds himself in, is reality.  But nah, real life is starting to knock on his door.  He’s like in a 4Chan for boomers echochamber.

The crowd that goes to Chappelle’s stand ups aren't going to have any “woke” people (the conservative use of the word woke) in the audience.  Chappelle fans tend to be more edgy and don’t give a fuck.

The crowd spoke… and Elon Musk sucks major ass.

The best part about this though, is people are actually beginning to wake up about Elon — ironic, because they’re actually becoming woke lmao.  It is his own doing and unfortunately he’s doing it on the world stage for everyone to see.

I don't dislike Musk. He is good with technology and innovation. It's just that I think he has bad political takes. He focuses on political power/influence that's tailored to profit him personally and his business
