Domination vs Collaboration

Is it really necessary for one force to strive for domination? Is it possible for total collaboration? Has to be surely? In what ways is collaboration more powerful than fighting to become the ‘king’? Eckhart points out the futility in fighting for a future heaven without realising it creates a present hell ??‍♂️
