You are literally too stupid to survive without pain.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

I think it's because of us maturing along the way. You suffer, see that you're suffering and either figure out why or continue to do so.

Without suffering you would not know what joy is.

the collective ego is an entity in constant evolution, and the engine that drives it is suffering. without it we would always be at the same point, like monkeys for example, who have a very basic ego and hardly suffer mentally, but who do exactly the same thing for hundreds of thousands of years. they are in the garden of eden, we ate the apple and now we have to fuck ourselves or reach enlightenment

Your beliefs.

Your natural state is joy, you don't need to first experience suffering to then know joy.

Suffering is just a veiling of your natural state. It's not something that's the opposite of it that you need to first experience.

It's hard to feel joy if you're dead.

@Leo Gura

does someone's current state of consciousness stay the same after the physical death?

If not he then must suffer while dying before his consciousness raise ?

If suffering ends, then it’s opposite, which is joy, will also end. Joy can’t exist without suffering, and suffering can’t exist without joy. You either have both, or neither.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

Training ground ;).

Helps you "return home" and expand what you love.

"Pain and Suffering" is your teacher.

This is like saying, if darkness ends, then light will also end.

It's exactly the opposite.

The only way that darkness can end is if the light is switched on.

And when there is light there cannot be any darkness.

There was a video posted in the "Freaks of Nature Mega-thread" of children with rare sickness that made them feel no pain at all.
The parents were literally crying saying that they would give everything to make their children feel pain. Think about that.

A loving parent would give EVERYTHING to make his own child that he loves FEEL PAIN.

One girl literally scraped her eye out with her fingers.

In the Vast Expanse everything that arises is Lively Awakened Awareness.

He does.

God does not create bad. People do. God did not create hell, people did.

If people created suffering then they must end it.

Whenever I read a question like this, it's like:

Since it's 'bad' to dip my finger in jars of honey, why does God put honey jars everywhere and gives me the craving to dip my finger in them?

Long answer: God gave us a choice, to be selfish or not. We choose to be selfish, so this is what you get. When we, as humanity, evolve enough, then the pain and suffering of the world will be reduced. It was far worse 2000 years ago. It will be better 2000 years from now. As God cannot build a Stradivarius violin without Stradivarius, likewise, God will end the pain and suffering of the world through us.

Short answer:  So you can become aware of your egoistic urges, learn to control them, and stop dipping your finger in the jar.
