Sadhguru - black clothes attract negativity

I have seriously considered just wearing my devil mask permanently from now on wherever I go. Grocery story, gas station, meditation retreat.

Lmao. It is a pretty cool mask.

"God is not a conclusion, it is a sudden revelation. When you see a rose it is not that you go through a logical solipsism, 'This is a rose, and roses are beautiful, so this must be beautiful.' The moment you see it, the head stops running thoughts. On the contrary, your heart starts running. It is something totally different from the idea of truth." -Osho

It might be a reverse causality - people who are more introverted, shy, retrospective or who generally have lower mood are more likely to wear darker or navy, dark green colours because you don't want to stand out and introverts prefer to hang out on the outskirts of the attention circle. I've always been more pulled towards darker colours and darker themes and feel better in places and clothes that are not too bright - and it reflects my personality and interaction with the world.

On the other hand, if you are an extrovert, love socialisation and being in the centre of attention, your dressing style will reflect that, you'll wear bright colours that contrast the grey & black that many wear so that you can stand out. These people naturally attract attention if you notice them.

Obviously there is a lot room for manoeuvre in the middle such as introverts in bright colours and extroverts preferring darker clothes. Social media will skew this a lot as well.

I don't think clothes per say impact one's energy/auras/chakras - whatever you wanna call it. It's a reflection of the internal state.

Colors do affect your feelings, but it depends entirely on your individual mind.   There is also strong cultural conditioning that affects your mind.  For example, in the West, a dark blue suit has become a symbol of power.  Red is used for stop signs.  Green means go.  This conditioning can instruct your feeling state.  But saying “crumpled clothes are full of negative energy” is claiming it is an ontological reality rather than a state of mind, i.e. a statement of superstition, directing people away from the opportunity for expanded awareness.

When spiritual teachers become too caught up in the trees over the forest is where they lose their way in my opinion. David Hawkins in many of his books such as "healing and recovery" will mention that once you advance enough in your calibrated level of consciousness things that used to affect you no longer will. If you are doing this work correctly, you are not worrying about what color shirt you are wearing, because it's trivial and doesn't matter. You become immune to things that used to affect you, because you see they no longer matter in the way you used to think.

Imagine how easy it was to attract peasants to christianity during the dark age if you are willing to believe that black clothes attract negativity based on a youtube video.

@Carl-Richard I can be happy, and see pictures.

Are then color-blind people miserable?

Are people generally happier on a rainy day or a sunny day?

I don't really know, but I suspect that on sunny days. But also, I'm now looking at the dark sky and it's pretty good. xD

Personally I also love rainy days.

That's because you're a psycho- I mean non-duality connoisseur ^_^

But yeah, colors obviously affect your mood. To say otherwise is contrarian bs. There is I reason why my profile pic is an inverted version of the original.
