"Silence is like a watchman guarding a desolate garden

From faraway comes the sound of a voice weeping by the barrier In response,

flowers bloom freely in the garden

And flawlessly send you a message of gold"

Gnarls Barkley - Crazy

Wow I agree, I always thought that song sounded like it was about Ego Death

”Even your emotions had an echo and so much space”

”You really think youre in control?”

”I remember when I lost my mind, something pleasant about that place”

Dont look at me! Look inside!

I remember this for life
And now I see much clearer
I'm not scared to die
'Cause I will live forever
I will be alive
In this moment
For eternity, for eternity

What a dream, what a joke, love it   :x

This is one of my favorite songs.. Could be interpreted as enlightenment

And I thought it was strange, you said everything changed
You felt as if you just woke up

And you said
"This is the first day of my life
I'm glad I didn't die before I met you
But now I don't care, I could go anywhere with you
And I'd probably be happy"

Almost every day, I see the same face
On broken picture tube, It fits the attitude
If you could see yourself, you put You on a shelf
Your verbal masturbate, promises to nauseate

Today I'll play the part of non-parent - Not make a hundred rules for you to know about yourself
Not lie and make you believe what's evil is making love, and making friends, and meeting God you're own way
The right way

To see, to bleed; cannot be taught
In turn you're making us
Fucking hostile

We stand Alone

The truth in right and wrong; the boundaries of the law
You seem to miss the point - arresting me for a joint?
You seem to wonder why, hundreds of people die
You're writing tickets man?! - my mom got jumped -- they ran!

Now I'll play a public servant, to serve and protect, by the law and the state
I'd bust the punks, that rape steal and murder, and leave you beIf you crossed me - I'd shake your hand like a man
Not a god

Come meet your maker, boy - some things you can't enjoy
Because of heaven/hell - A fucking wives' tale!!
They put it in your head, then put you in your bed
He's watching say your prayers - cause “God is everywhere”

Now I'll play a man learning priesthood - about to take the ultimate test in life
I'd question things because I am human, and call NO ONE my father who's no closer that a stranger

I won't listen

To see, to bleed - can not be taught.

In turn, you’re making us -

Fucking Hostile

I grew from monkey into man - then I crushed fifteen million with a wave of my hand
I grew drunk on water turned into wine, till I was slave and master at the same damn time

But it’s why I am!
Still dancin' with the GrooGrux King
Out of my head and into the room. Hello!

The king of man, it makes no sense, when I bow to the priest while I worship the witch
But this is why I am; the only one to make you smile
Why I‘m still a snake in the woodpile
It's Why I’m still here dancin' with the GrooGrux King

Out of my head and into the room, so when my ghost takes me from you
You can remember the fool that I am, don't cry

The lose and the win of the world, wrong and right, us and them of the world
The you and the me of the world - only one way out of the world; and its why I am;

unlikely to agree
climbin' out of my monkey tree
still here dancin' with the GrooGrux King
I’ll be drinkin' big whiskey while we dance and sing
When my story ends its gonna end with him
Heaven or Hell I'm goin' there with the GrooGrux King

Its Why I am

There's no need to look further, guys. The essence of spiritual wisdom is encapsulated in these 3 songs. Enlightenment is the embodiment of all 3.

"The greatest illusion of all is the illusion of separation." - Guru Pathik

I have listened to all songs posted here, downloaded a few, but I feel like we have not struck the core of this issue; the ego has to die, but it will cling like a beast:

Chandelier Sia. Tip: "party girls" is the metaphor for the Spleen.

Over the rainbow Amstrong. Tip: "i see trees of green..." Metaphor for the heart. "Red roses too..." Metaphor of kundalini shakti, etc.

So the majority of good songs are all about enlightenment picted in different forms and colors.
