God realization is the end point...

Agree, God realization is a very important point, It is what they call awakening. you were asleep before you woke up to reality, to infinity, but after this the task begins. first, that realization in a short time is a memory. There will always be an opening in you that was not there before, but your job now is to make that opening constant and maximum. You must cleanse your energy body to the fullest. your life must be perfect in the sense that you must completely avoid everything that clouds your energy. you have to go deep into your psyche to understand and unravel all the mechanisms that keep you spinning in circles in your life story. You have to go beyond words, start seeing the signs that life sends you and obeying them. there is a path for you, it leads you to total freedom. Wr must follow it, we are destined for it. once you enter it, it starts to become a highway

There is no end point but God-Becoming.  The highest thing a human can do is not only realizing you are The Force, but actually becoming Force-Like or God-Like.

Only a few humans have ever achieved that and they are all dead.

Meditation is a lifestyle of developing a calm state of mind WHILE engaging in one’s ambitions!

Counting your breaths, chanting a mantra, and the rest of it is all ratshit and a complete waste of time. What is stopping you from meditating WHILE working on your life purpose?

Without doing the work to purify your mind, you'll just keep going back to your contracted ego-self and your God-realization will be nothing but a memory.

Don't forget though, that deep contact with God will transform you all by itself.

You're not gonna have 300 awakenings and stay the same as you were.

Of course you should still work on improving all aspects of yourself. It won't be that automatic.

Grasping it once is cool. But can you grasp Gods nature here and now?

Can you feel it (God) in this random, ambivalent moment?

If you are like me, probably no. That's why some cool awakenings here and there will not allow us to see the intelligence of God anytime and anywhere.

Which means we have to go deeper ;)

Buddhism is awesome, yes, it's another paradigm but it's pretty wide and it can be very useful and necessary paradigm.

I admire true Buddhists; I admire and respect deeply their style of living.

Meditation is a powerful tool, it forces you to face reality, your own subjective reality as it is, with all your emotions, beliefs, thoughts, to look at all your monkey chatter and to let it go, again, and again, and again. It trains you to endure pain and non-comfortability in life, it improves your resilience.

Look at the story of Thích Quảng Đức, a Buddhist monk who burned himself alive while meditating (to protest against the discrimination against the Buddhists in Vietnam). During the self-immolation he did not move, he did not scream in pain, he did not even open his eyes, he entered such a meditative state that allowed him to be immune to pain. I'm sure he developed immunity because he practiced meditation for years. Yeah, maybe it didn't lead him to a great awakening. So what? It made him extremely resilient.

Not to say that I support this kind of Self-sacrifice, but I think that resilience and a capacity to endure pain in life, whether it's a physical or mental pain, is important for survival, it can make life so much easier and satisfying in a long term.

Not to disparage the direct experience of God realization, but it's not the most important thing in spirituality, it's only part of it. There are many aspects to spirituality and it's also important to consider the way you live, the way you behave, the way you move through this life. You can have 1000 God realizations but move through this life like an average human being. You can have non-God realizations your entire life but move through this life like a God.

What is criticized here is mostly Western Buddhism.  The Buddhism practiced in the East is at a whole different level way beyond psychedelics.   But even in the East it has become mostly bureaucratic and the authenticity is shrinking.

All schools of thought are criticized. Buddhism is picked out specifically because it is so prevalent in spiritual circles and is the hardest religion to deconstruct that I know of. The myth of Buddhism is up there with the myth of science. If science is a myth, what do you think Buddhism is? You haven’t transcended religion until you have firstly deconstructed Buddhism.

Real Buddhism is a path and not a set of concepts.  Buddha didn’t speculate about metaphysics because he focused like a laser beam on the path that ends suffering.  That is why he never talked about God, because it was irrelevant to ending suffering.   All this talk:  “I am God”, “Its a dream”, blah blah blah, are just words forming concepts and is useless.  Follow the path and go into the silence where there are no words or concepts.

@r0ckyreed I sort of think you have a shallow pop culturally myth understanding of Buddhism.
