For the past couple of years, I've gotten little to no results.

27 posts in this topic

I've been on personal development for years. I've been following Leo's content for years. And while I did initially get lots of results in the first 4 months, that all came crashing down with my health conditions started.

I have diagnosed health conditions, like depression, anxiety, and OCD. But I'm not making any progress with improving my health either, despite all the books and information I've learned.

Why is this the case? How can I actually start getting results and momentum? I feel like my life is slipping away.

This might be a weird answer but what i found if you dont learn Game(which is tough to explain on here) you will work on outside of yourself and not inside for lasting resaluts all the books is just random thoughts that you mybe use sometimes but dont embody it into yourself because you dont know you so Game is a must.

Thats why you could use theory for some brief resaults but it doesnt stick, it doesnt become who you are or its in conflict with who you are...

Its like growing in thousands different directions and places not focused on your personal growth everything must be specificly your way otherwise you are pulled in thousand different directions going nowhere...

Its really tough to fix health problems because they and you dont understand you so its a hit or miss process waiting for it to hit eventually...

@ThePoint

Eat magic mushrooms and dive into the sea. It is really good for depression and anxiety.

Or go to a SPA and use the cold water there if you don't have balls enough for the sea.

Or start microdosing mushrooms.

I've read that depression can alter your brain structure so be kind to yourself and start using psychedelics.

It's simple, you're not taking enough action.

Health conditions can be very debilitating if they get bad enough, so you can't always just act your way out of them, unlike other kinds of problems. All success assumes a foundation of good health.

@ThePoint How about you make the biggest personal development goal for you to be free of your ailments within the next 5 years? And make everything else secondary?

Well my main goal has been to be free of my ailments. I need to be free of them within the next year.

Within the next 5 years is too pessimistic of a goal for me. If it takes me 5 years to solve this shit I’d rather kill myself. So it has to be ASAP.

@Leo Gura

You are right. But I think I need to try harder.

I’m always tired 24/7 because of chronic fatigue, getting out of bed everyday is the hardest part. I know that I could still be taking more action and researching more. I still eat food and masturbate as a crutch for how shit my life is.

Maybe I am gaslighting myself. But maybe I’m not. I need to change my mindset into thinking I have more control over this situation than I think I currently do.

I’m just so sick of this man. I’ve made little to no progress with my health. I need to get the hell out of this situation ASAP. I already feel like I’ve lost half of my life quality, imagine years down the road.

How do I take more action?

Quit jerking off , especially if you’re watching porn, man that’s likely your biggest problem that’s keeping all this. When I quit porn, my anxiety, social anxiety, depression, and anger/sexual problems all lifted pretty much magically.

Quick Google search on porn effects of the Brain, Ted talks about porn, I totally disagree with Leo’s take on this. Porn corrupts you spiritually and mentally. Read about semen retention

Go talk to girls.

Find some community, people who are into personal development. Search for Mens groups, this will help you see others who are embodying this stuff.

Go travel, switch things up. Take a trip. Backpack in Bali.

if you really are thinking to kill yourself if it doesn’t get better in a year then stop fucking around and take your life seriously.

Take action. Drink Ayahuasca in the jungle, get a mentor, stop eating shit food and jerking off.

Or don’t, and ya know, stay depressed.

Visualize yourself if you go another year like this, then visualize what it could be like if you turned it around and starting crushing it

My last recommendation, drop the self help books. The wisdom is within. Go into nature and spend 3-4 hours a day sitting there in absolute silence. I guarantee if you do this daily for 2 weeks you’ll be healed significantly

I hear ya man. I've struggled with fatigue and health stuff for years. It's a real bitch.

Can't help ya cause every health situation is unique. See my video on Requisite Variety on my blog. That's my best answer for ya.

@BlessedLion I've been trying to stop for years. How long did it take for you to see these results when you stopped jerking off?

This is good. If I go another year like this I will be much worse off. If I turned it around and started crushing it I will love my life.

Where do you sit when you're in nature?

@ThePoint semen retention works relatively quick for me. It's been a couple of weeks at most and I already feel more masculine, deeper voice, stress resilience, etc. Probably because it increases testosterone.

Now, I can't say for sure. There may be various factors involved.

This is obvious but nevertheless useful to make sure that it is well handled: restful sleep, clean diet, mindfulness, exercise, etc.

Start with one small change, if you prefer. Avoid added sugars, caffeine, TV, excessive internet and smartphone use, etc.

That will at least free your awareness and time. From that, a course of action will become clearer, imo.

But in the end, you need to take action.

I stopped using internet and my smartphone for an entire week and that dramatically increased my calmness and sleep quality improved.

Books and information are not enough to treat all those conditions.

What has truly helped me is getting treatment with a high-quality psychotherapist and psychiatrist.

Unfortunately, they’re not only expensive, but hard to find. But it is, hands-down, the most important investment I have ever made in my life

Get out of your head!

It really boils down to this.

If you get out of your head (fantasy land) and into reality, you will go into flow and start to take action.
