Final layer of the onion.

40 years of contemplation. As a five-year-old child, I would cry myself to sleep at the prospect of death.

”Who made God?” I would ask my parents, who strangely seemed unable to provide an answer.

20 years of meditation.

Years of psychedelics, including full-blown metaphysical breakthrough experiences.

Years more contemplation, depression, seeking, glimpsing, getting lost again.

The final layer peeled away. Once finally seen it is hilarious.

Immediately a previously unrecognised tension in the body / mind simply drops away. It becomes startlingly clear what was being carried in its absence.

Just wow. Clarity. Perfection.

@RMQualtrough You’ve got it (so to speak). Enlightenment. Trippy isn’t it?

Such a wonderful and fun community that Leo built here. Not sure whether I’ll stay around… there is obviously no point now except for enjoyment. Much gratitude in any case.

Apparently.

Haha regardless, congrats.

Maybe one day I’ll understand what you’re talking about.

I call BS. I don't think you realized what you think you realized.

Are you sure you're "done"?

This comment stuck out. This isn't a wonderful and fun community imo lol.

And idk it just strikes me as inauthentic. It seems like this kind of message is appealing to seekers because seeking can be a long and unrewarding path, so they find something to grasp onto like they won or completed something.

And I compare these kinds of messages to my own experiences of progress and they are incongruent. I felt knots of tension in my brain explode leading to complete shifts in perception and my identity on my deepest awakenings/experiences.

But I don't know for sure. Some people are pretty confident that these kinds of neo-advaita messages are suspect, but part of me still wonders if these guys are legit. Maybe this guy is done and now he can live happily ever after, but I just seriously doubt it.

I won't doubt a person's awakening unless it's painfully obvious.

It’s perfect. Very enjoyably pointless.

@axiom I would be very suspicious of your "final layer" if I were you.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

So the meaningless of reality is where you found peace?

Hello Leo.

It’s too obvious. A bit like how a nose is always at the front of your face but you don’t really see it (until you do)

Meaninglessness is all there is… and there is infinite peace and beauty, yes.

Yeah, well, that don't say much. Could be a dozen things you're still not conscious of.

@axiom were you on psychedelics or did it just hit you randomly? I'd be cautious of "the final layer" too, but as @Carl-Richard wisely pointed out, awakening is a very individual process.
