We do not communicate through words, that is just illusion.

Many people believe that a word and its definition is an objective fact. That the word blue just corresponds to a color. You will have people debate over and over on definitions and labels believing that said labels and definitions are objective. They don't realize that all meaning is subjective.

I'll present a scenario for you to understand. Person A loves puppies. When they hear the word puppy their eyes light up. Person B hates puppies, mostly cause they are allergic. When they hear the word puppy they look around in apprehension and annoyance. When Person A hears puppy they think loving thoughts, When Person B hears puppy they think annoyance, and allegoric responses.

When someone talks to you in a language you don't know, their words....are dead to you. Their words have no meaning to you. For you to understand their language you need to be able to picture...and to feel what the words are pointing to. Once you are able to conceptualize and MAKE A CONNECTION, then the words become ALIVE. They have MEANING.

I know its sappy, and people are tired of hearing it.....But meaning, connection, life....its just love. Life is continually pointing to the same thing...love. You cannot escape this, everything is love even your denial of this message is love. You love the way you perceive things currently and don't want to lose that perspective because you love it.

Everywhere you look is love, communication is just an act of love that you take for granted everyday.

It is an enormously interesting topic because as humans we are largely made up of words. there are devastating words, and exalting words. words make the difference between life and death. like gears that we are in human machinery, the word is everything. without words you are not human. you are simply free, but hardly alive, since that is how reality is constituted. as humans we cannot do without the word, but perhaps we can dominate it and not be dominated by it.

Yes, words create. The interesting thing I observe is that words and sentences can reveal deeper and deeper layers of meaning as you are present to what is being conveyed beyond words and raising in levels of consciousness. It's a profound experience to absorb a meaning that not even the speaker had realized and then convey it back to him or her. Then, you create something else together.

Tl;dr: words ≠ concepts.

Intrinsic joy is revealed in the marriage of meaning and being.

One day humanity will learn how to communicate without words, I'm proposing we don't need words. We use words to communicate meaning, but meaning is something deeper. I'm sure you had moments when you realized something, when it just came to you? What came to you was understanding, it was meaning. Call it an intuition if you will.

One day as humans will figure out a way to communicate or transport meaning, without having to use words. Word are currently just transportation for meaning, but meaning is just a combination of an image and feeling.

I suppose we could consider txtspk to be a step in this direction: the use of as few meaningful consonant sounds as possible to convey meaning.

Or when Alphabet’s AI bots concocted their own language to discuss complicated ideas in the form “yes and that it it it and and the it and it the yes” etc etc

All paths lead to a deeper unreality.

Sure, but at the end any meaning is false by definition.

words are the way to communicate mental images of reality that beings needing to adapt to an environment create in order to survive. animals do, but only humans have the gift of the word

mental images create the idea of past and future so that survival is possible. if you were a plant you wouldn't need it. but if you're a rat, yes. you must be able to react. the human goes further and connects millions of individual processors through the word, giving rise to a super human capable of dominating the environment. he no longer adapts, he adapts the environment to him, and this is because of the word.

the price of this is moving away from the truth, believing that this world that is the collective ego is reality, being completely addicted to the word and not being able to live a second without it. we here try to master the word right? we don't want to be their slaves, we want to be able to shut up, get out of the matrix and merge with reality. but we try with more words, because we are very addicted, as everyone
