Because... You Are A HOMOPHOBIC BIGOT. Just kidding.

It could be any of the things you mentioned, maybe all of them. I would add however, though some unfortunately might not like to hear it, that there are metaphysical reasons why male homosexuality particularly has traditionally been frowned upon.

We have to remember that sexuality is not just a physical phenomenon. Generally speaking, a man's nature is Logos (truth, insight, discrimination) whereas a woman's nature is Eros (love, relationship, interconnectedness). Because woman's nature is essentially erotic (in a much broader sense than merely sexual, as I have just described), female homosexuality is not necessarily a violation of woman's nature. Man's nature, however, is not erotic but logocentric (incidentally, this is why feminism and postmodernism are happy bedfellows). Male homosexuality generally involves one or both men violating their real nature by taking on traits proper only to the opposite sex. This can happen in female homosexuality, too, when one woman "plays the man" and dominates the other.

That being said, there are exceptions to every rule and, anyway, when we talk about sex (mostly a biological category, as opposed to gender which is more cultural) we are talking about the extreme ends of the spectrum: it is very possible that homosexual people are those of either sex who are closest to the middle point between the two extremes, or even people whose sex and gender are at odds with one another.

Because it represents the infinite and that love have no bounderies. If you do the work long enough you will realize why  homosexuellity is a " sin" and ultimately merge with it.  And for the record, No it's not a sin. It's just that it >>points<< to one aspect of love that is the reason why everything divides and why everything has to change and that itself is the "sin". That is the life force energy, that is the suffering. Becuase why do you have to be something else if you are already perfect?

Your disgust mirrors your disgust to fully accept yourself which per definition includes homosexuality. Becuase you are everything.

homosexuality exists in the animal kingdom, not all members of a species are needed to reproduce , excessive competition leads to instability amongst social groups. Your homophobia is conditioned from your cultures values

There are certainly cases in which unusual forms of sexuality could represent a "love with no boundaries" but in many cases it is just the opposite: the narcissistic retreat to the same instead of the other. The sexual union between a man and a woman is a much better symbol of a love with no boundaries because in this case what occurs is a true coincidentia oppositorum and even a hieros gamos ("holy marriage")!

@Oeaohoo Haha.

Interesting. so the same mechanism that makes me attracted to feminine beauty makes me sexually repulsed towards masculinity?

And how do you uncondition it?

Yeah but its also a representation of your bias and what you want. It's both at the same time. The goal should be to allow yourself to be homosexual if you want to, but that doesn't mean that you have to become or be homosexual. It's about acceptence and allowing it, which then also means being able to let it go if you want to.

From what you have said, you aren't sexually repulsed by masculinity. If that was the case, you wouldn't find homosexuality repulsive so much as stereotypically masculine activities. Last I checked, homo-eroticism is not a stereotypically masculine activity! I was suggesting that you might be sexually repulsed by seeing the masculine principle degraded by taking on traits proper to the feminine nature. These things are very complicated and specific to the person though, so you will have to consider what I have said and see if it relates to your situation.

By deconstructing  the ideas and assumptions that are held to be true as to why you think its wrong, trace it back to its source, where did it come from ?  and when you find the foundations for them beliefs , question what makes you so sure its true

It's all conditioning. There is no distinction of anything. All discussion of distinction is ultimately just the game we play, called the separation game. All games are just infinity games, even saying everything is One is itself a distinction because everything comes from Nothing. So to be One means there has to be One Thing.

So now that we got that out of the way.

Anything we say...will just be a perspective. So....well....I vote its conditioning. I also like Osho's perspective. 'https://www.oshonews.com/2015/10/06/homosexuality-lesbianism/

I think the union of man and woman is the greatest spiritual test because it forces more development.

Here is a key insight. The Masculine and the Feminine do not understand each other. They need each other, they complete each other, but they do not understand each other. But if they understood each other, they would be each other. But the cool thing about them is they are able to trust each other, and accept each other, without having that understanding.

For a man to truly understand a woman, he has to integrate his feminine. For a woman to truly understand a man she has to integrate her masculine. So the male female relationship presents the most room to grow. With same sex relationships its just issues with personality and values, but outside of that there is no real friction.

But hey, if you don't want all that friction and you just want someone who will understand you easier, have at it.

Also you have the feminine and masculine within you so you have experience that conflict internally.

Where you want to express your love for someone, but logically it will be at a cost to you.

Logic= Masculine

Desire to express= Feminine.

Ultimately what you decide....picks the one you side with within.

@Razard86 it's an interesting subject. I think about that dance between the masculine and the feminine within ourselves a lot. It's a beautiful energetic flow of energy. I think a really healthy integrated human being could have a deep and fullfilling relationship with anybody he/she wishes, despite the gender. It's about energy, not gender, I guess. I think it's a POV that embraces more possibilities and perspectives. All relationships present room for growth, because it's a mirror. The problem is that we create so many labels and identifications that really become a veil to true seeing.

It's part conscious, part subconscious and part collective unconscious and more.

For example, in Thailand, there are statistically a higher percentage of guys who became beauty queens. This is due to social conditioning.

To break away from such things, you have to make it disgusting and guilty, even shameful. Feel the pleasure of being a man again.

True, can't argue with that.

I would say so.

I'm basing that on my experience that I found it more disgusting and repulsive in a time where I was much more in the matrix of conditioning - where homosexuality at the time was being mocked and looked down upon by guys who valued "masculinity".

When I got out of that matrix, I stopped finding it disgusting at all and even got in touch with some bisexual thoughts and feelings.

Which I don't consider myself a bisexual - I just think that most people have some of those feelings - and the degree to which they repress these (because conditioning tells them it's wrong, so it would lead to unacceptance to become conscious of those feelings or thoughts) becomes the degree to which they consciously experience disgust or repulsion instead.

The same reason you would be uncomfortable watching a douche bag and a tramp kiss

The same reason watching a slob eat a huge Mc meal

The sort of pleasure derived from those things isn't even surface level, it's just mindless mimicking, including the expressed pleasure

A man and a woman can procreate, that's amazing, and not only that, they can raise a child in a conscious atmosphere.

A man and a woman in porn makes me uncomfortable. But I think if a conscious man and woman were having sex in front of real saints they would celebrate it.
