@Magnanimous the content I the book is magical. It was written long back ago but visualisation and affirmation techniques in it will surely help you think rich.

You don't become rich when you have a million dollars in your bank account.

You become rich when you think like a rich man.

Follow all the techniques in that book and you will definitely be rich.

It’s a book of solid principles.

it seems when Napoleon was young he did some shady dealing.

But eventually figured out the higher principles

The principles outlined in that book are solid. My favorite successful people (Lucas and Rowling) followed (consciously and unconsciously) every single principle mentioned in that book.

Bob Proctor, the one who mentioned that his life changed because of Think and Grow rich, died this year...

You would be wise to read it and apply it, rather than be cynical about it.

All serious wealth is generated by using the mind. Think about that.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

The book TAGR contains many principles which can lead one to grow rich in mind, body and in the material world.

Bob Proctor professed to learn a lot from Think and Grow rich and even used this book as a guide to launch his speaking career.

People who skim through the book or peoe who just read the book summary may not get the full essence of TAGR. Best to ponder more and be aware of what the book is teaching.

Napoleon Hill was the OG self help guru of his time.

He also sold courses on how to quit your job and get rich.

Those were to be attended in person, in classrooms.

It seems likely that he was an unscrupulous liar (and effective marketer) when it comes to creating backstories for the principles he shared.

Reading about his life story, it doesn't seem like he was ever successful at anything else but peddling the get-rich dream.

He used fake namedropping to sell his books and courses (the president, Andrew Carnegie) to poor workers who wanted a better life.

Skimming over the principles listed in the book, they seem mostly solid to me.

Good knowledge can be shared by deeply flawed characters.

That said, I prefer to learn from people who I'd actually want to emulate.

If I want to be like Andrew Carnegie, I'll read his biography directly.

Learn to resolve trauma. Together.

@Magnanimous think and grow rich is legit even though napoleon hill used some snake oil sales tactics to sell his books. He really did put 25 years of research. Otherwise it would not be still in print today
