Poor form to laugh at a crying man.

Jordan Peterson reminds me of Tammy Faye, in the use of fake tears to manipulate people.

   I agree, I find it really funny that Mike here thinks he's justified in laughing at so called fascists, while blind by his own delusional view in normalizing the extreme behaviours of ANTIFA and extreme leftists who over cancel for their own reasons and call people who disagree with them, traditionalists, conservatives,  Republicans or moderates with the slightest disagreements, fascits. How laughable. People like these make me side with Jordan here and the right a little bit, even though he has bad political takes, he's got good takes on psychology despite having his own delusions about politics.

   Except, it's not fake. Jordan's not sociopathic and psychopathic enough to fake tears. Look at how distraught he is. Look! Those are real tears.

   If anything, you should be more cringed at the guy laughing at his tears.

@Leo Gura Well said.

I agree. Also, its his life purpose he's talking about. Personally, i kind of find it inspirational to see someone so passionate about what they do.

I don't even agree with JP on a lot of things anymore.

Plus the dudes got pretty severe ptsd

Crying because your father died is legitimate.   Crying because some are commiting “revenge against God for the crime of Being” is fake.

Not fake, just pitiable that his life purpose is tied to an ideological paradigm that's so out of sync with the current problems facing the world.

I think he goes through emotional catharsis the way I do. Let's respect such things instead of demonizing it.

Yeah they are not fake, but he is quite emotinal these days. Crying because supposedly Antifa is trying to destroy Society and then saying they are doing this out of revenge against God is quite unhinged. The guy is clearly not mentally stable these days.

@Leo Gura oh, I see. But he used this phrase with regards to antifa people and not himself, which is still kind of confusing to me. Did he mean that those people are into antifa and far left beliefs because their lives are full of suffering? And also that them being violent is their way of expressing their hate towards God?

Is my understanding correct and if it is, do you agree with his point of view to some degree?

   Correct, because depending on your value systems, beliefs, cogntion, morality, psyche, ego development, and life experiences, you experience many types and degrees of suffering. So of course some ANTIFA members are suffering, both from making this movement a big deal, attaching themselves to it's narrative, and making an enemy out of fascism and fascists, some may have had difficulties in different areas of their life, and ANTIFA provides them with an outlet. It gets problematic when this group's ideas get parroted around the internet, and then anyone who disagrees with you,you can just call them fascists. It's extremely disingenuous and disturbing. It's like if I don't agree with you, I can just call you a theif and report you to authorities, or gather a mob to beat you up just because I don't like how you disagree with me. It's that bad.

You can just say "depending on the person" ?

   More of this, and the world would be a little bit better off.
