What is interpretation?

10 posts in this topic

On my last trip I noticed something. Every time I interpreted something it started to become real. I caught myself doing this so I've stopped as much as I can. But it seemed to me that interpretation=creation. My problem with this is that there isn't actually anything to interpret. Its just me.  So yeah. Interpretation is me. And it is myself I am interpreting.

My question is how does interpretation fulfill the function of creation? Why is it that my interpretation becomes reality? And what would happen if I completely stopped interpreting?

I have some loose answers in my mind but I'm looking for something to bounce off of.

Oh its all one:D Fuck.

I may be missing something. (likely)

Its my attachment to interpretation. Hm.

Interpretation is actually infinite.

So attachment and interpretation are equivalent?

It is equivalent to my reality.

So Can interpretation operate without some degree of attachment?

Yes, and that is the ultimate interpretation. It is all inclusive.

Is it even interpretation at this point?

Its Everything. This is God.

Yep, your conditioned perspective or interpretation is what seems to create that personalized dream story within reality.

The illusory individual blankets reality with meaning, purpose and value and then operates from those assumptions.

The mind constructs narratives (usually self-serving ones) to make sense of reality.

You are God. You are Love. You are Infinity. You are Leo.

@Leo Gura Is that sense making the same as creation?

What am I really making sense of? Isn’t reality absolutely baseless?

You are creating a reality in the now, and then trying to make sense of it.

You're identifying with your mind/thoughts, and of course what you constantly think about, positive or negative, becomes your reality.  So it's not simply interpretation that's creation, but repetition/focus.  The way out is to engage in activities which still the mind, so you can experience more presence.

You were willing it into existence.  Because Will is Creation.  And in an Infinite state of Consciousness you were Willing things into reality.  That is how you are creating reality right now - through Infinite Will.

interpretation is wearing tinted spectacles ... remove the spectacles, the memories, the prejudices ... look cleanly and clearly
