Secrecy vs Exposure, Usefulness vs Uselessness, and Making Permanent Descisons

At first, this may sound like I am requesting another video on duality but I would like to know what things should be kept secret and what things I should be more open about. If something is not only useless but harmful but I find valuable subconsciously, I would like to know how to permanently let that go.
