Half an hour. Some days not at all. I aspire to read more. Life conditions don't really allow for reading books multiple hours a day right now. I also very much enjoy listening to podcasts and audio. Learning a language too which takes time, not at the stage I can read books in that language yet, but i'll get there. Once I escape wage slavery, i'll be able to read books more often. Depends on the conditions, I read 1-3 hours a day in the summer holiday.

@Knowledge Hoarder

But isint it about quality.isinit about what insight u got from the reading session rather than how much page u read

Gotta be at least 3 hours, if not more. And if it's less than 3 hours, then I at least try to read as much as possible - reading is directly linked to my LP, so it's important - but also I just enjoy it.

@Knowledge Hoarder In what ways is reading directly linked to your LP?

Does it give you ideas and perspectives to integrate into your own writing?

1 book per week (50+ per year) is totally doable if you include audiobooks. Did it last year as one of my 8 yearly goals next to a "normal life" with 40h work weeks and a relationship. 1h of reading upon waking up, 30min throughout the day, and 30min before bed time. But I think it only makes sense if you have a concrete goal in mind and if it's somehow linked to your profession or voice (LP). You will forget most of what you read anyway, so note-taking is crucial.

I have read about 460 self improvement books to date. I don't count comic books or children's books or any books I read before age 20.

Nowadays, I don't read much anymore. Primary reason is due to work taking up a large part of my time.

I spend more time studying the Bible and their verses (a lot of articles), self improvement articles and I also watch a lot of YouTubes.

books is an archaïc way to get knowledge.
it's slow, and doesn't increase fluency in complex understanding.

Also I would rather listen an audiobook if really.

but u cannot highlight an audio book which is a huge handicap

I don't see a zero option??

Real self-actualizers listen to audiobooks as they allow multitasking and being more productive.  Reading is for lazy, unproductive people.
