It's amazing how far charisma alone can take you in life. If you are good looking, have a sly tongue, and can charm people you can basically just make up complete nonsense with zero substance and people will eat it up.

Reminds of Frank Abagnale, who conned and impersonated different professions for many years before getting caught. They made a movie based off his life with Leonardo DiCaprio called "Catch Me If You Can". It's quite good.

I don't think those women accuse him of being a rapist.

What they say is that he's manipulative and abusing. 

They way he treated them was very typical of the way a narcissist treats his victims. (Love bombing, grooming, gaslighting etc.)
