Has anyone been to Nepal or any "Spiritual" place?

Just curious ?

Is there a particular place around the world or in your area that that makes you feel spiritual ?

I like walking in state parks

I also would love to visit Nepal

Nepal is top of my travel list

Hoping to go there sometime this year

Not even for particularly spiritual reasons, I mainly want to trek and explore the culture/history

I love the beach. Especially a beach where there is literally nobody or very few people.

The idea of a beach makes me want to contemplate deeply on life especially when the breeze is blowing across the face and through the hair.

I asked the boy beneath the pines.
He said, “The Master’s gone alone
Herb-picking somewhere on the mount,
Cloud-hidden, whereabouts unknown.”

@Tim R should have been berry picking like Hansel and Gretel.

@integration journey I spent a month in a 75sqft wooden pyramid on the side of a volcanic lake (Lake Atitlan) in Guatemala in 2018. Meditation, yoga, breath work, long distance runs, gardening, journaling, for a month straight. The town was deserted, maybe 200 people.
Was the most spiritual place I’ve ever been. Absolutely transformative.

Every place is a spiritual place ;)

I go walking in the middle of the woods a lot, and I have a neat little secret hideout out there that I decked out with furniture and decorations like a Buddha statue and those colored Buddhist prayer flag thingies.  I go tripping out there a lot, and have had some of my deepest awakenings there, so now my mind associates that place with divinity.  You could say I feel closest to God out there.

If you feel like you have to go somewhere, you are on the wrong path.

You can derive it from simple logic

State parks or local parks definitely.

Going to San Francisco by car had me feeling spiritual, and Istanbul - Turkey.

Well, it would be hard to do spiritual practice in the middle of Times Square in New York for example. Lots of distractions. Looking for somewhere that's quite, peaceful, beautiful, and has many generations of spiritual knowledge accumulated is not a terrible idea I don't think

Yes, you can do what you want. It doesn't matter to me. These can be nice holidays, for sure. I'm flying to the Maldives this year and then later I'm renting a beach house at the Cote d'Azur. The wine there can also make you enlightened.

Let's see how long this lasts^^ Besides the fact that the spiritual knowledge is easy accessable via the internet - engaging in fantasies sounds also more romantic to me and inspiration is always good.
