President Biden orders the successful killing of ISIS leader

Instead of dropping a bomb on the house they sent ground forces in an attempt to not harm civilians. Ground forces was much riskier for the US forces but they did it to protect civilians.

The terrorist chose to blow up himself and his family with a suicide bomb. That's where all the civilian casualties come from.

Nope. Just pointing out how this problem is like an endless money pit. Feel bad for American soldiers who lost their lives and peace fighting this ugly problem when they could have been spending time with their wives and children. This problem is nothing but a loss and more loss but no solution in sight.

But with your method they would walk free and unpunished and they would grow/get stronger and kill more people.

I don't think you should give up to evil.

If you don't stand up against evil you are kind of complicit imo.

It's also about principles and justice.

@Preety_India And it does probably affect their motivation to fight and IS probably becomes less attractive to join when their leaders gets killed all the time.

@Preety_India said nothing prescriptive of how the US special forces shouldn't/should of handled the situation, nor said what method she would've suggested. She said this below:

And nothing in it suggested a method. Only a commentary of the potential long term implications of continuing the same strategy that might be financially expensive to continue.

@Husseinisdoingfine Dude, ffs, it was the terrorist himself who killed the innocent people.

Come on, bro. Which story is more likely?

I knew it, of course some people instantly create a conspiracy theory.

Having a national police force also doesn't solve crime. But an established country needs a dedicated police force to counter criminals, even if it doesn't solve the issue of crime. Just like you need counter-terrorist operations to counter terrorists. Just don't be under the illusion that taking out a terrorist will solve all problems. Taking out Pablo Escobar also did not end international drug trafficking.

I wish Muhammad could come back from the dead and give 100 lashes to each and everyone these lame-ass terrorists who think blowing themselves up is holy.

Exactly. Keep taking them out, never give up.

Such a reductionist method towards human beings is like that of pest control, spraying pesticide all over the place,  while poisoning or maybe even killing other non-pest or domesticated unwitting animals as collateral damage in the process, sterilizing the whole area, and not asking why the pests are gathering up in your house and yard in the first place, what 'junk or trash' of your own are you constantly leaving behind out in the open or being negligent about in your house or yard that is attracting them towards you in the first place.

I am not saying not eliminating or neutralizing radical preachers who profit from this and from people who trust them and whom they indoctrinate and use is not going to help, lessen or solve the problem, but the question is why are their ideas so attractive and ring true to people who see a kernel or a partial truth in them from their own experiences and therefore give their trust to them and where do they get them from and are allowed and reinforced to have them and what kind of environment and background allows them to be acceptable and the norm - in other words, what kind of environment and where is allowing them to prosper not critically enough and unopposed, and who is also profiting from this while claiming otherwise.

Is posing such a question that might lead to an actual more holistic truth of the whole matter.

Remember without those deemed and defined [animals] as 'pests' in relation to humans and their social norms and activities, there would be no 'pest control'.
