@WokeBloke And you are not 'part of the Universe'.. you are the whole Universe seeing parts of the Universe.

my body is certainly a part of the universe.

Why do you think I'm the whole universe?

there's good reason to think I'm the whole body. But no reason to think I am the universe considering I am viewing the universe as a piece of the universe.

How certain are you? You don't think there are assumptions there in your statement?

I regard myself to be the changing body. So wherever the body is, is where I am. The computer is not my body but a part of my experience.

There's probably not a cell left in your body that hasn't been replaced by new cells since your birth. Does that mean that you has been replaced as well? Or is there something that you call "I" that has been left unchanged?

Do you forget your ONLY interaction with "the universe" which is supposedly "out there" is via hallucinations rendered in your mind? Sights, sounds, taste, touch, smell, all rendered by your mind. You don't know the world through any other means, just mind hallucinations.
