The most serious issues facing humans

15 posts in this topic

Which problem areas facing the world -either now or in the future- do you consider being the most serious and neglected?

Some ideas:

-Dangers of superintelligent artificial intelligence

-A conflict between leading superpowers

-A pandemic even more serious than right now

You could also answer from the perspective of what would you create or increase in the world to create the most good.

What are your two cents? The problems can be as general or as specific as you like.

I'm interested in what the forum thinks are the most important issues to focus on from the perspective of human well-being and consciousness.

All problems of the "World" are a part of the Mass-Hallucinations that we are facing.
Its like a new patch for a game, or a new expansion with new features and challenges.
Its a game. Once you are done playing, and want to grow up to something real. You exit the game and
go out in nature and explore your true essence.

Many still love the new features and challenges. And they get very serious and fall prey to the narratives.
They get very attached and love to play a role - taking a side or believing they got the right perspective.
Eg: Vaxxers - Antivaxxers. Extremes in both ends.
All of this is still playing out an old way of thinking, a belief and biblical patterns of Good And Evil.

The way forward is seeing between "Good" and "Evil". The Middle Way.
Consciously choosing your path, and not needing to take any side, but your own true compass.
And not to fall prey to the games. Unless you enjoy playing them.
Willing to stay awake and watch how easy it is to fall in to The Illusions of the World.
Now, this can hurt, this can liberate. Either way: If you are done: You are ready to tread towards Truth.

The problems of the World, will solve themselves. As soon as people stop this pattern and Hysteria.
Just like when you live in a crowded area, with traffic (a lot of pollution in the air) and houses around the the area
are affected by it.
But when you go up real early, before everyone else: Go out and take a deep breath of fresh air.
Just by the traffic being dead, and no cars passing by: The air refreshes itself.
Same thing with the problems of the World. Not all of them. But most.

The most important subject in politics should be ecology. This is because humanity is a part of the ecosystem. We are the planet, the soil, the organic matter walking, talking and breathing. This is an alive planet.

Everything else builds on the ecosystem.

Everyone is waiting for eternity but the Shaman asks: "how about today?"

1) Above all else. Population. It is the magnifier for all issues. Resource shortages, housing prices, space, pollution, environment, traffic, stress, wars over territory/resources, now viruses as there is less space between population centers, and we live closer together than ever etc.

Nobody will ever talk about how to stabilize or reduce it.

Because for the: Capitalist it hurts the economy. Liberal it infringes on civil rights. Socialist believe its self-regulating or can be, but I need more data on this and the authoritarian view as we don't see them.

2) Environment
It seems the 'language' is getting more serious in the UK as to how to at least address the environment. The challenge is of course slowly shifting workers and their families from one career to another, especially where communities rely on a specific industry. There is also a lot of money invested industries which is the real sticking point. Then there are developing countries going through industrial booms, and more to come.

But it is nice to see adverts at least where Eon and others say they are taking the problem seriously. Me I'll believe it when I see it, it's been decades of resistance, lies and false promises. If they do manage it, then perhaps we can at least see green technology making them the same money oil did, and that would be a positive, to have communities and families with a history of solar, wind or bio fuels to their name.

We are still using non recyclable plastic. Which is insanity. We are creating something which we cannot use or break down in any form, islands of it now in the ocean and stretches of land that will never be anything but landfills, i.e uninhabitable. So every time we use a produce we cannot recycle we make a small part of the earth uninhabitable, and for mass-produced food products that is nothing but wasteful in every sense.

3) The changing international power dynamic.
There is a lot of upheval happening now and more to come. The risks to the average person are the quality of life goes down, as it has been at least in the UK, and the possibility of more war, crisis or hysteria going around which makes people do unwise things.

4) Media
Is media reforming hmm. A bit. It still respresents a specific interest rather than a collective truth. Most of it is an echo chamber for whichever view is being put forward with very few exceptions. In the UK we do an okay job of grilling whoever is on, the interview is usually somewhat hostile as a result. Sadly though its almost impossible to have an independent media channel in the UK, as free use doesn't exist on things like news clips, so fully outside the box perspectives are never engaged or challenged, leading to things like conspiracy sites. Although things like question time have around 7 perspectives (I forget its been many years since I watched), its all still for the status quo. I do enjoy the fact that at least any elected official can question the prime minister each week, about anything.

5) Finances. Banks are not your friends. They are not your enemies. They are banks.

Why do I pick on banks, because the 'we are your friends banking campaign' in the UK gives me nausea. Its setting people up to be ripped off again. Friends, they don't come watch the football with you, they are not there when a family member passes away, they don't share interests outside of banking with you. They are not your friends, they are your bank. I realise the campaign was launched to improve their image after they got away with ripping people off in 2008, and got nothing but bonuses out of it, but its not helpful.

They are not your enemy either, they are not plotting against you, seeking to undermine you. They are just a bank seeking to make as much money as possible. I've seen both the extremes now in my lifetime after living with a family in crippling debt, and the distortion in either messaging is not helpful for the average person living their life.

The “MIND”…………………………

We create our own reality as a limited independent bubble of consciousness within the limited collective Human bubble of consciousness.  The external reality that you perceive independently and as a collective is a reflection of the thoughts, ideas, images, beliefs, expectations, desires, feelings and emotions you are holding within the narrow lens of the Human Ego.

What you focus on becomes your reality, independently and collectively!

If you/we focus on illness, disease, Covid, destruction, hatred, righteousness, victimhood, greed, scarcity from a pessimistic, cynical, distrustful, unscrupulous “FEAR” based perspective!  Then that will become your reality and will feed into the collective reality!

A problem only becomes a problem when we make it a problem from a pessimistic, cynical, distrustful, unscrupulous fear-based perspective.

The only way out, is to step out of this mass collective psychosis we are creating with our Dis-eased mind, and the collective Dis-eased mind.

We are literally creating this nightmare dream from our own dysfunctional, confused and disturbed thoughts, ideas, images, beliefs, expectations, desires, feelings and emotions.

The answer is the "path" of Spirituality and Enlightenment!

The path of stepping out of the dysfunctional, fear-based illusion and the nightmare dream we are creating independently and as a collective!

The path of observing, discerning, questioning, evaluating and consciously discriminating every thought, idea, image, belief, expectation, desire, feeling and emotion.  It means questioning everything you see and hear, which means believing only half of what you see and nothing that you hear without questioning it!  It means doing Shadow work with awareness and “Doing the Work” of healing the Human MIND, the collective Human MIND.

Just sharing a few thoughts, ideas and beliefs!

A huge problem for the "West":

Declining health because of the huge amount of environmental toxins

I believe this causes the population to be physically sick and emotionaly unstable, causing all kinds of conflicts.
Many people will be debilitatet with conditions like autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, CFS, Burnout Syndrome, Parkinson's, cancer, gut conditions,...
Mentally sick people will adhere to devisive ideologies, ruin their health with drugs, get socially isolated, commit suicide, ...
Less people will reproduce leading to senile population ... less workforce, more people needing care than can get it, economic decline,...

Off course society will adapt to it, but I believe this has and will damage society dramatically

I agree well put. It is all connected and you feel it when you improve your diet and take care of yourself. Though I would say the world. As developing economies are adding to the strain with their own industrial revolutions, and much of the garbage from western countries are being dumped in them where possible.

The planet's like a body and at the moment its getting a case of the flu physically speaking, but with what we are going through collectively with the virus it's a reflection of what the planet is experiencing.

I don't feel its unrepairable as some do, so as others have said the placebo of hope or the living in a joyful state of mind helps. But I do feel there are always more serious corrections coming. Not by some divine power but by virtue that the current conditions haven't changed things yet, so it'll either continue as is or get worse and 'hopefully' be corrected.

There's the theory that colds are endogenous detoxes and that viruses and bacteria help in a symbiotic way.
Therefore fevers, runny nose, coughing, sweating, diarrhea are functions of the body's own toxin elimination.

Altough I don't say this is 100% true, it makes sense.
n a big picture view humanity might be in a collective detox from all the toxins we inhaled, ingested and injected.

Education - Our education system needs a serious update. Not even an update, it needs to be done all new. 70% of children who are starting school today will have a job that doesn't even exist yet. We need to foster independent thinking, teamwork and innovation in our youngsters/.

The gap between rich and poor - Russell Brand hits the nail on the head in this video:
"It's interesting that inequality don't even work for the people on the fruitful side of the arrangement."

Loss of faith - "The greatest question of our time is not communism vs. individualism, not Europe vs. America, not even the East vs. the West; it is whether men can bear to live without God." - Will Durant

Food and the Environment - The way most food is grown is ridiculous. Self-sustaining farms with fertile soil will be worth more than any money you could have on the bank soon. I'm so sure of that.

Anything that makes people afraid of each other like the pandemic, where the solution seems to be to keep distance.

Unresolved Trauma - which leads to drug abuse and a huge mental health crisis. We're wasting so much potential by not teaching children how to deal with emotions, and parents how to raise children.

Well... given that we started negatively impacting the climate and then LATER discovered, that if we keep doing it its actually going to become a problem. mankind might be working on creating another problem for itself RIGHT fucking NOW, maybe its the Metaverse, Maybe its A.I, but if history repeats itself then we won't know until we're already stuck in a lot of shit.

and of course everything is done with good intentions, we invented the internet thinking it was going to be amazing and beneficial to us, only for it to be amazing and beneficial with new addictions created like social media addiction, conspiracy theories spreading like Australian wild fires, TikTok which is so out of control and in a league of its own, you can't even put it in a social media category, you might not see a problem with it if you don't have any young siblings, but I see grown men struggling to build any type of work ethic in their lives

Tiktok just surpassed google as the most visited website, let that sink in & read it again if you can't believe your eyes, That means TikTok.com is more popular and more visited than GOOGLE.COM, that almost makes a TikTok account more valuable for businesses than a website, because a website is accessed through the google search engine.

The biggest issue is the failure of humans to realize why they are here and where they come from.

We are intelligent beings but we use the intelligence for stupidity because we don't know any better.

Humans need to understand fundamentally where their consciousness comes from. They need to understand that it's not the brain that produces consciousness, that consciousness is derived from a higher, good, all knowing consciousness, whether you call it the universe, god, energy, the divine, etc.

It is this failure that creates clueless beings that don't realize that we're all in this together, that your actions do matter, that there is life after death, that there are consequences for what you do.

Instead people think they are separate from everyone else, they develop egos, they think they can get away with whatever they want, that they are just living this short futile life and that everything is fair game.

Why does it matter if I'm kind to someone if I'm going to die and it's going to be irrelevant anyway ?

This desperately needs to be challenged. I think if people understand the fundamentals of consciousness they wouldn't have such a selfish view on life, and the world would be a much better place.

We wouldn't have wars, we wouldn't shit on our environment, and we wouldn't shit on each other.

We would understand the importance of love and create an inclusive society that uplifts people and uses our collective intelligence for the greater good.

I think everything "bad" is simply a domino effect of not really understanding what this is all about.

It's a giant elephant in the room.

The human psyche. I agree with Carl Jung:

Quote

We need more understanding of human nature, because the only real danger that exists is man himself. He is the great danger. And we are pitifully unaware of it. We know nothing of man … far too little. His psyche should be studied—because we are the origin of all coming evil.

The material problems: diseases like COVID and climate/water issues, wealth inequality. I would like to think Nuclear war is a thing of the past generation.

The mental problems: Lack of consciousness, mental development, emotional mastery and understanding, communication skills.
