That’s wild lol.

I like how she fully embraced it. Takes confidence.

I like her message at the end. She isn't telling women to go all natural. Just to explore what feels right and comfortable for them and explore where these forces come from. Are they doing it for themselves, society, someone else, just to be aware of them.

It's funny because I (as a male) wouldn't be able to grow beard like that.

I respect her choice but I don’t find it attractive. People are diverse and I think that’s great

It's not a social construct, she still has XX chromosomes

I literally knew before I started the video she had PCOS. She has a medical disorder causing her to grow facial hair, it has nothing to do with gender.

Pointing to fringe cases of women capable of growing thick facial hair doesn't make gender a social construct

No one cares about biology.

It's a construct in a way that says beards are for men.

@Opo oh really?

If biology proves something in favor of your agenda, you shove it to our face but when it says something against it, you say no one cares.

yeah, testosterone and estrogen are also part of the social construct!!!  :___:

Sry I triggered you.

Biology proves that men can grow beards easier but it doesn't say anything about who should or shouldn't grown one.

@hamedsf  As women age, it becomes clear to them that they too have facial hair. This idea that women never should have facial hair is kinda like... pedophilic? I don't know. Imagining these girls who are teenagers and adults as having to be perfectly shaved, small, cute faces... Only kids are like that. Even though this idea is unnatural, it is normalized by our culture and therefore also perceived as natural.

Maybe, but there is a larger thing being pointed to here. Some women have beards, and hair on their bodies in general.

However, marketing and culture changed the way we see hair in the west.

A woman with a beard is an abnormality, not a proof that women have beards.

@vladorion So many women have it as they age. It is super common, but they shave it.

Having 3 hair is not the same as having a beard.
