I like all your habits, but these two ones I particularly like.

Meditating 1h at a time - Streak 6

I have been trying to stick with at least 40 minutes sessions. I feel this is the necessary time to really quiet down the monkey-mind. Anyway, I am able to do this during the first session of the day. I have decided to do the do-nothing for 2 hours a day.

Meditating 1h at a time - Streak 7
Switching meditation techniques no more than one time - Streak 4

Having a new experience or doing a comfort zone challenge - Streak 23

Dorsiflexion exercises - Streak 34
Programming my Subconscious Mind (10min) - Streak 13
Apple cider vinegar in the morning - Streak 5
Gratitude - Streak 78

The new experience: I went with my sister into the swimming pool and stayed there for about 30 minutes. At first it was very hard for me to get into the cold water. I am not used to the cold water since I have stopped the cold shower habit.

While swimming there I got an idea. At that time the idea was brilliant, but I guess I will hate the idea tomorrow morning. Instead of jogging around in the garden in the morning I now want to go for a short swim. The water will be cold early in the morning as well as the air outside. So that is also a bit of the Wim Hof method I think. It will probably be very challenging.

In the morning I had the desire to eat an oat meal for breakfast. I wanted to start contemplating the desire. But then I was to lazy and just ate a huge bowl of oat meal. I feel definitively better without such a breakfast!

The new experience: some awkward moments while buying fruit and vegetables. I ran next to my sister while I taught her biking. I made a weird fruit salad with her.

I again was to lazy to contemplate and just ate.

I think you are making the habit of new experience/czc too easy for yourself. There will be everyday something bit out of normal day life and then you can just write it down without trying something actually hard/new.

The new experience: I was driving with my father to a few places, because he had to get some stuff done. I had to drive where I wasn't before. I am not comfortable with not knowing what to expect while driving.

Yes, its to easy. But building momentum slowly is better than no momentum at all. Its not particularly hard, but at least I do something that I normally wouldn't do. I would not take the opportunity to do something different, and instead stay at home and be productive. Normally when I have a lot of free time there are a many days where I just stay at home all day with the exception of running or biking. But otherwise I do not get out of the house, and all the days are like the same. Now I have a little bit of variation.

Maybe I will commit for harder czcs, with the goal of one czc each week or something like that. I'll do that when the right time has come.

The new experience: Friends of our family were visiting us. It was nice to hear a different perspective from different parents - seeing a different "type" of parents, and not just my totally neurotic ones.

Would you know how neurotic they are after meeting them for few hours without ever being in their household?

No internet two hours after waking up and after 8pm - Streak 0
Contemplating and embracing the desire to eat (10min) - Streak 0

Meditating 1h at a time - Streak 11 (not yet but in a minute)
Switching meditation techniques no more than one time - Streak 8 (not yet but in a minute)

Having a new experience or doing a comfort zone challenge - Streak 0
Concentration (10min) - Streak 3 (not yet but in a minute)

Waking up my body outside - Streak 32
Dorsiflexion exercises - Streak 3
Programming my Subconscious Mind (10min) - Streak 17
Apple cider vinegar in the morning - Streak 9
Gratitude - Streak 82

The new experience: None. I could make something up, but thats not radically  honest. Nothing special happened that I haven't experience before. I could have made something different, but I wanted to continue programming instead.

I see that I am lazy with the contemplating the desire to eat habit. Tomorrow I will do it when I want to eat nuts or raisins, or something in the afternoon. Really!

The new experience: None, again. Most of my days now are very similar. I didn't left the house except for running. I did the same stuff that I do every day. I should do something against that.

Today I was very productive in the morning without the internet. I really like that.

Today I argued with my mind whether I should go into the city or not. My mind rather wanted to stay home and program - like yesterday. But at some point I was bored of programming. So I made the decision to go into the city.

The new experience / comfort zone challenge: I went into a book store. There always was a sign saying that one should rather order books there instead of on amazon. I've had a list with some books from Leos book list with me, but most of them were in English. So I asked the woman about them. They were able to order two of them, but both in German. She was very sorry that she couldn't order the English ones. I said that its no problem, and that I just wanted to support them instead of than amazon. She was happy about that. Afterwards I felt good.
In the city I've noticed how many people with a migration background are there. I have nothing about migrants or refugees, I have just noticed it. Normally I am not there in the city and am not used to be around so many refugees.
In some shops there were these 14 year old girls, looking for make-up, joking around with their friends and gossiping. I also don't see such situations often, just when I am in the city. I noticed how I judged them a lot.

Wow, today I accomplished all of the habits.

Contemplating and embracing the desire to eat

I was inspired to contemplate the desire to eat thanks to you.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I have been wanting to remind you of a self-help concept. You already know it so ignore it if it doesn't make sense to you.

Remember to focus on changing one thing at a time. Idk if this applies to you, but it certainly applies to me. Since yesterday, my only rule has been to meditate for at least 150 minutes.

Let me explain: I sometimes am like a micro-managing boss. I neurotically try to correct everything that I don't like about my life. But when I simply focus my energy into one big thing--meditation--other aspects start to correct themselves.

I certainly forget about this principle over and over. I always tell it to other people, but I don't always follow it. hehe.  Next thing I know I literally want to fix 20 things in my life. I am able to pull it off for a few days, but I eventually backslide. It is easier to keep track of just one thing and let the auto-pilot do the work for other things. With enough time, all aspects of my life will start to vibrate in the frequency of meditation. In other words, change one thing, and the rest will auto-correct.

On the other hand, I do realize that a natural desire for more habits arises after we have successfully installed more basic ones.

Anyway, I feel more creative and freer after I took off the weight of improving so many things; and simply focus on one.

Good idea! That would be almost the ultimate one.

One habit at a time. Right. I forget that too often, although I know about this. I should concentrate on the eating thing the most!

Haha, lets become the macro-managing boss.

Overall Habit Streak: 0

Contemplating and embracing the desire to eat (when I want to snack) - Streak 0
Fasting until 12 - Streak 0

Doing something different - Streak 2
No unnecessary internet usage three hours after waking up and after 8pm - Streak 3
Meditating 1h at a time - Streak 14
Switching meditation techniques no more than one time - Streak 11

Concentration (10min) - Streak 6 (not yet but in a minute)

The difference: Today I got my exam results. I got congratulations from many people and a gift from my grandparents. I talked with my father about a bank account and buying a laptop. I spent no time programming or doing my usual productive stuff. I made bread with my sister. I empowered my mother and gave her freedom. I practiced self love exercises and releasing tension. It was a weird day.
