Could an enlightened person defeat an entire country?

32 posts in this topic

Is it possible for a person to become so high conscious, awake etc that they develop the ability to defeat entire countries on their own?

Consciousness seems limitless in it's imagination, so couldn't consciousness just imagine itself with super human combat abilites?

Yeah, that's one of example of what's possible.

Basically, it's about what are the limits of consciousness' imagination in reality

There are no limitations on consciousness. But would that be in service to the greatest good?

Probably not.

Therefore it won’t happen.

@aurum Is rape in service of the greater good?

Seems like there's plenty of stuff that exists that isn't for the greatest good

Consciousness is so limitless that there is no limits from it making limits on itself. It's so limitless that it makes limits for fun.

@Raptorsin7 are you from the US bro?

There are legends in Hinduism about it. Kartavirya Arjuna for eg. Mahismati was his capital city. Another example is Raavana, he grew the Raskha culture(his people) exponentially by doing so. There was so much prosperity in his time that his kingdom was said to be figuratively made of gold. No one achieved this level of prosperity in/for his culture before him. Both of them had the levels of power you are talking about.

Kartavirya Arjuna is still "worshiped" and given a diety status today in India due to his sense of Justice. Raavana is considered evil and egoic by the general populace but experts in these legends say he was actually a just ruler and people are misinterpreting history and the culture at that time.

Fun fact, Raksha culture had women as the leader and "main-person" in the traditional family structure. They were able to marry multiple men while men generally could not do otherwise. Women had more rights in those regards.

How do you know that? From your current state, it may seem that it's not for the greater good, but it is. Consciousness doesn't just include humans, but literaly everything.

Also, why would you wage war on yourself? That can only happen when you're biased, and limited. It doesn't make sense when you're everything.

Rape exists, therefore it obviously is.

Any of that stuff that you’re imagining isn’t for the greatest good is only your limited ego’s perspective.

Which of course does not mean we should go around raping each other. Or that society cannot be made more loving / conscious.

If we made the decision as a society not to rape anymore, that would also be the greatest good.

Everything that happens is the greatest good.

No, because the person is imagined, it is one "object" in imagination.

Whoever you think you are, and whatever desires you have, all of them are imagined in the first place by the Divine. So, once you attain ultimate insight into imagination, you simply recognize that the universe already is precisely the way you wanted it to be imagined, including the limitations of personhood. It's like you are already imagining everything, including your lower form desire to somehow attain super human combat abilities. But you already imagined so that this is not possible, because that's the way you wanted it to be.

Consciousness already is imagining everything exactly as it wants to.

So if someone broke into your house and tried to kill you, an enlightened being would have no desire for combat?

@Raptorsin7 You've been watching too many fantasy movies.

I've heard first hand accounts of people with pyro and telekinetic siddhis so I think something alone this line is possible.

And this post was inspired by my love for this napolean series I've been listening to

Exactly. Maybe he would use aikido though. That's something that most people don't consider.

No you would sit there enlightened unable to become a killing machine to protect yourself. Most likely. Unless you are conscious of this real life enlightenment problem and are prepared beforehand on how to act in this kind of situations.

I think it's possible, but probably not like in the movies. Like some superhero movie or something.

But rather through symbolism. Like something Gandhi did. Being the symbol and embodiment of an idea that inspires the people to raise their consciousness and understand the futility of war and destruction. Don't underestimate this.
