Is every moment that existed and will exist happening now?

10 posts in this topic

So Our relationship with time creates the illusion of continuation, human  consicousness experiences what we call life in a way that resembles a film, each life is a unique strip that has the illusion of a watcher and the screen, without the screen the watcher wouldn't be able to know he exists since he will be everything (although it turns out he is ;)) and the mere concept of a screen of course implies a watcher, the watcher is merely a sense of self, this sense of self creates what we call experience because experience is a referential feature to consicousness, he hallucinates the screen, the notion of time, and his sense of existence.

But what about this very moment ?

Are we all watching our strips of film together? Or does God (as us) watches them one by one?

for example I can say 100% that I'm experiencing something right now, and you can too, but is God seeing only the ones who are in our time frame (although you can argue that's relative to is now)? Or is he also experiencing people hundreds of years ago ex?

Would like to hear your thoughts.

Ps: will the film run once?

The film doesn't ever begin or end, and it's all immediate. Infinite happens in 0 seconds. I guess being in a place where time is always 0, it's infinite and unchanging.

@GabeN There is only one moment, only experience of the present moment. The past does not exist. The past is a concept we use to reference our memory of experience. The future is conceptualized ideas of potentials, So we are all only "watching" this present moment. It basically stops there. (Levels of Consciousness will reveal different experiences within that) but anything conceived other than that will be concept and imagination. Think of the present moment as a place holder for experience or a circular lens we are looking at the film reel through, so when we talk about the film reel what we mean is everything on the reel is only experienced with in that place holder or lens. Its not so much that each individual frame is experienced at the same time, its more like "IN " the same time, its more like every frame is experienced at the place holder which is the "present moment" because we are removing time you can see how it makes more sense to see how everything happens in the "Now" there is no need for time when we understand its about the place holder, The present moment. What we focus on is the "present moment" compared the the film. the film doesnt really matter thats just changing content within consciousness which is all identical and infinite, its all about the lens, The Present Moment. Does this make sense?

Focus on the solution, not the problem

There exist is only one an endless and eternal film in which a character wanders if multiple films exist

Every experience you think is happening outside your view is actually happening inside as you think it, now. Everything is happening now, even you immagining poeple fucking 3000 ago. Past and future are illusory axises that appears whenever reality shift from infinitly present beingness to Ego.

@GabeN Notice that the above definition of time and space has to be intended just as a reference point, we cant really say that a shift has "happened" it's already falsehood.

It’s not like that. The truth is very simple: There’s just no separation of any kind at all. It’s the answer but it’s impenetrable by any individual knowing agent, since that agent itself is not someone separate, since as previously stated, there is no separation. Every single quality or dimension you could think of, including time and space and awareness, can be best conceived of as processes that the absolute appears as. It’s not merely that everything already happened or that everything is happening now in time. Yes there is nothing other than now, but when one says “everything is happening now,” they are very likely misperceiving the truth of that statement because it’s likely that they experience themselves as moving through time — if that’s the case then any understanding of the statement will be relative and not absolute.

@GabeN Forget about ‘God’. That is just another idea. Right now, all your perceptions are all that exist. Anything that you’re not experiencing right now doesn’t exist. ‘Your current experience’ is what all of reality is.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

Yes everything is happening now, but something is happening, then there is time. It is obvious that only now is real, but it is not about that. if there is change there is time. time is the measure of change. The issue is not the obvious that only now is real and what happened is a mental construction, it is that from the absolute point of view absolutely nothing happened. it just seems like it. that's why there is no time. but ... if it looks like it, something happened, right? well, it seems that no. There is only the right now when you have a hallucination that something happened. but ... the hallucination is changing, therefore it is happening. no ... it just seems that way to you. It's a trick. it's the same all the time. crazy. I am not saying that this is true, but sometimes this reality appears and it is very clear. Is the same that the realization that only you exist. A kind of loop. Sure Leo explained really good is his videos, pity i only write and read English, listen is a big work . Looking forward for that book

It's all God. The imagining that we are all watching film strips together is God. There is only one.
