Metaphysically speaking.. Nonduality means there is only one substance out of which everything is made :namely consciousness.

The nature of thought seems to be dual. Our actual direct experience, already, now is nondual. The nature of thought is comparison, difference, separation/combination, and opposites. Cold weather outside feels cold because it's a difference from the warmth inside.

Touch your desk or some other surface and really feel what you feel. Is your hand actually a separate sensation from the desk?

Do you remember your birth? When did you begin? If you have no knowledge of your beginning, what makes you think you'll ever end?

Even the question, which position do we take dual or nondual? is going on the paradigm that we have to pick one over the other. Duality.

Even the assumption "there is no good or bad" implies this statement is correct and the statement "good is good and bad is bad" is incorrect.

As you might be feeling right now, nonduality is strangely unsatisfying to the mind, and yet oh my God, you'll never find anything more satisfying than the realization that you can just drop the war of thought games at any time.

@Nahm that isn't the right definition of non duality when teacher ask you are going to answer 1 + 1 = 1.

be normal and human.

if that is the case consider everything as not two

There is one fundamental or primary identity. Any separation or duality is secondary or non-fundamental.

dual means consisting of two parts nondual means consisting of no parts or one only.

All separate "things" share one fundamental identity, namely the fact of existence. Existence is a single, unified and infinite field. If you look past non-fundamental appearances, you'll realize that all things are fundamentally one thing – "not-two", non-dual.

@Carl-Richard I know they are one from soul level but from body they are two. So non duality is a type of choice like religion ,like weather your are Christian or hindu!

So I choose duality. And Reality is duality. Non duality is a perspective not absolute truth.

It's a joke.

Something that is One cannot be not-two.

@ivankiss One implies borders. So one is one separate thing, so two is two ones, three is three ones and away we go.
