As a resident of California, I will be very upset if she does become my new governor. She would be a total disaster for our state. 

She's also another idiot who fell for Trump's con. Also, why is she a conservative Republican when she also obviously is a major supporter of transgender rights and the LGBTQ+ community?

Selfish people hold political positions which serve them personally the most.

It's class bias.

I would expect someone with $100 million dollars to be a conservative just for the tax breaks.

That's only one factor. Another factor is that they are selfish and self-biased, which means they vote only based on what personally serves them.

A stage Orange person's worldview is commonly all about unchecked capitalism. The more she benefits from unchecked capitalism and materialism the more that worldview will feel true and real.

Jenner is entitled and materialistic as fuck. Of course she doesn't care about helping poor people by deconstructing capitalism. Conservatism is all about, you can guess it, conserving! People are afraid of death. Old ways becoming obsolete IS death, so people try to keep them alive by conserving them.

Here is a thing to think about. A liberal from 200 years ago would be considered "conservative" if not even "alt-right" by todays standards. A conservative from today might be seen as hyper progressive if you sent him back in time. This makes sense right?

Well, more and more people right now are jumping on the socialist train. As society progresses towards socialism (which seems to be the case), capitalism will slowly become more of a conservative thing. In 200 years, capitalism might even be seen as overly conservative!

So the question is: What does Caitlyn Jenner identify with the most? Being a transgender person or being a rich person? If the transgender part was the most important thing to Caitlyn, then maybe she would side with the left. Maybe she even does side with them in this regard. But she surely doesn't like how the left seems to progress towards a more socialist way of thinking. Liberalism seems to slowly become more and conservative. Socialist figures are starting to gain popularity (Bernie Sanders, AOC, Hasanabi, Vaush, just to name a few). The left is turning socialist.

You could say that politics is like a car. The left represents the throttle, the right represents the breaks. We are driving towards socialism. The only way to slow down progress is to side with the right because that's what they are about. They are about slowing down progress, because progress brings death. Death to old ways of thinking and living. If rich people want to keep enjoying being rich and paying little taxes, they slowly have to move to the right as the left will become more and more socialist, meaning that they will have to pay more and more taxes. (Taxes are obviously not the only factor, but they are A factor)

I think that that is the role of survival and of "old fashioned" ways of thinking within all of this. Capitalists will grow more and more concerned about socialism and they will try to hit the breaks as hard as they can.

That's at least my personal observation, I'm not an expert when it comes to this kind of stuff so it may be very likely that I'm wrong, or that I've missed something crucial. Let me know if I did!

In my mind I separate Conservatism from the modern Republican Party, whose operating philosophy seems to be : "How do we make life more difficult for as many people as possible?"

Granted this probably isn't intentional, so much as an unconscious byproduct of an extremely selfish and unreflective worldview.
