How can I develop masculine energy?

18 posts in this topic

do you have any recommendations on how to develop masculine energy? i really have trouble with attracting girls, because the relationship to my masculine side is so twisted and upside down.

are there any specific yoga, breachting techniques, bodily excercises, certain psychedelics (maybe shrooms?) to make me feel more masculine. I guess I also have a blockage in my throat chakra. I have a lot of trouble expressing myself...pls help :)

im also kind of addicted to masturbation, are there any body techniques to support semen retention...?

Start taking cold showers and working out. The more you push those 2 the more masculine you will feel.

@gar-4-field

Hardcore physical training of se kind. I prefer weight training.

Hardcore study of religious/metaphysical Doctrines, philosophy, or Psychoanalysis. (Not new age stuff or run of the mill online courses-- i.e. commodified spirituality/scholarship) .

Surplus-- of time and/or money and/or energy, etc. If your busy and tired all the time or stressed, then you're going to be easily overpowered by life.

Make logistical moves to increase your surplus.

The second part is important to free yourself from the influence of mainstream media, post-industrial education systems, and nihilism.

This is my solution, and I have no issues with not being masculine enough anymore.

I'm not perfect, but I'm a man.

Go out and socialize.

Notice your tendency to be stuck in your head and be grounded in your body and emotions more instead.

meditation and spiritual work also helps but ideally you wanna do both.

Lift weights and you'll feel masculine.

Also you can play combat sports like MMA or Greco-Roman wrestling.

And yeah, quit porn.

1. Constant stress, for example from work/school will cause your cortisol levels to increase in your body. Which in turn lowers testosterone. Get rid of that stress. Meditation is good.

2. While this constant tension and stress on you is bad - stepping into tension for short amounts of time will increase your masculine energy through the roof. So see where you can play with tension in your daily life that is on par with the level you can tolerate (or just a tiny bit above).

3. Clean up diet (less sugar, fast-food, toxins).

4. Sport (especially heavy and HIIT).

5. Good sleep.

It may sound counter intuitive and not work for everyone but if you have the cash to burn, a strip club with the right stripper can really boost masculine energy. You will feel like a provider and if she can make you feel good and strong I've noticed this feeling boost my masculine energy some for a time after.

Cold showers + focused intention.

In some cases, intentions are far more important than the practices. This is one of those cases.

I suggest exploring what led to that twisted relationship to your masculinity (through therapy for example). Find our if there is trauma that needs to be healed.

Also what other people said: exercise, sleep enough, have an overall healthy routine.

Find out all the obvious and subtle ways in which you hold yourself back, practice grounding yourself in your body and see if you can slowly start to do the opposite (i.e speak your truth).

You can start with the low hanging fruit. No need to go straight to the things that you are most afraid of.

Another thing I find useful is to not get stuck in labels (masculine/feminine), because this can make you judge yourself when you're not acting like a typical masculine person. Learn to let go of these limiting labels and beliefs when they no longer serve you and practice expressing yourself freely, without second guessing yourself to see if you're being "masculine enough". If you feel more feminine energy at a particular time, allow yourself to feel it and express it ?

The problem of you starts with the inability to ground yourself in tension and it makes you disconnected from your body. Your goal should be to become more grounded in your body and so the techniques you will adopt need to include the body preferably. Inspect and observe your relationship to tension in your day to day life. How do you relate to it? How do you react? What situations evoke it? Do you distract yourself from it? Do you become nervous? Are you in your head?

Really take the time to observe and become clear on what/when/where and then don't rely on these techniques like meditation, psychedelics or breathwork to fix your tension problem. They are a must and they will help, but you only suggest them because you want to distract yourself from the real solution that you are scared of. That's growing the courage to face the tension that you feel you can't handle. That's your exact problem. If you want to generate a more masculine presence and groundedness, then you gotta bite the bullet and gradually face your fears heads-on. But don't overwhelm yourself as well and start small. Eventually layers of conditioning will start to break down and you become more expressive, have less self-doubt and you become more free in your body. Your voice starts to become more powerful and loose. You'll also become less absorbed by your internal world and your behavior flows more natural from your inspiration that you can now also drawn more from your external environment. All these blockages will gradually go away, but not if you stay in your comfortzone.

The key is also to make this a priority in your life and focus on it for a prolonged time without too much distractions. You can't half ass it because you'll stay like this forever.

I suggest starting with Leo's video on body awareness and especiailly do the techniques in difficult situations that tend to make you disconnected from your body.

Join some activity where you can enjoy the company of masculine men.  Masculinity is a group energy that you can receive.   One possibility is to take courses in auto mechanics in a trade school.  You will make friends talking about a common subject you are interested in.   When I lived in Mexico, I was a member of a boxing gym, and it was great for masculine energy.  It was inspiring to see fathers mentoring their sons in boxing.  Masculinity is about the power to do things in the world.  So don’t get overly intellectual and subjective in this space.  Work with the energy.

The funny part is that the answer lies in what this website promotes: Meditation, be in the "now".  You will not gain shit from interacting with the world a certain way to boost your masculinity--you'll just be patching a sinking ship with multiple leaks.

If you raise your consciousness level even a tiny notch, it has giant implications in your IRL outcomes, socialization's, attraction, etc.  Believe me, I'm there.

When you're SUPER PRESENT and in the NOW/BEING/MOMENT... you are more disconnected from your anxieties, more prone to LISTENING to others, more alert about body language, much more out of your head.  Your inhibitions lower without any drugs or alcohol and you begin to radiate a 'I don't give a fuck' attitude that is extremely attractive to women.  You also stop being outcome dependent and do not give a fuck what happens or what others think.  You'll play less games.  It's literally a superpower that you can reach if you just start or continue meditation NOW.  Stay HERE, the answer to your problem is HERE WHERE YOU'RE READING THIS.

Mescaline.

I just came out of an huachuma ceremony... and mescaline is SO MUCH about awakening the divine masculine...it feels like a coming of age ritual, where your ancestral grandfathers are taking you by the hand and carrying you from boyhood into manhood. You'll feel like a man after that. Whew. Also it releases blockages. My nose and third eye are unblocked now. Sounds weird I know.

Apart from that: tantra. (I can recommend a workshop) That's where I got the most growth and insights regarding masculinity. Because you are interacting with conscious women who want to bring it out in you, and bonding with conscious men where the sense of brotherhood will awaken your masculine.

And remember: it's already inside you. You just need to remove what is in the way.

@gar-4-field hope that helps?

This video transmits masculine energy that is off the charts.  It is a devotional song to Shiva.   The singer’s expression embodies masculine tranquility and effortless power.
