Climate change is not a conservative ideal

Correct. It's a scientific idea. No one is arguing that.

It is not a deep understanding of conserativism.

As someone knee-deep in this conservative dystopia, I don't see much "deep conservatism" around here much anymore. Conservatism used to be about things like conserving. A Republican president signed the Environmental Protection Agency into law. What passes for conservatism these days is just embarrassing. I'm not saying modern liberalism is much better, only that I've lived in Texas for 25 years, and it's just scary here sometimes with all the brainwashing, cognitive dissonance, and self-destructive behaviors.

GOD I fucking WISH that the Democratic Party was a secret Socialist Communist front like the Republicans make it out to be.

In the advertisement, he's literally saying that there are Communists in the education system, Government, plotting to destroy our churches and destroy our business, um HELLO? Where do I sign up?

Let me translate Texan to English for you. In Texan, "Communist" means "They give money to people we don't like." So if they give money/handouts/tax breaks to rich white males, that's OK. White women? Maybe if they're Republican. Poor people, especially people of color? Hell, no. That is what "Communism" means in Texan. They have no clue who Marx, Lenin, or Mao (or any other prominent Communists) are.

For me, somehow something like this feels completely genuine while a video of some professor dunking on mysticism feels like a parody. It's like somewhere along the line, Poe's law reverses itself, as if it's a type of horseshoe theory. It's so inherently ridiculous that it just has to be authentic. It goes beyond parody.

@Leo Gura I think I see more of what you mean.

When we look at the future through a doomsday lens we are basically being victims.

We are working toward being powerful creators and every thing is just perfect we just need to increase our awareness to see it.

Forgive me Leo when I fall asleep or get lost. I know you know how big and hard this is for us as we grow into fully awakened Gods.

I feel like I am just becoming online and I still have ups and down. There are so many Axioms to develop and states to maintain.

I am the planet so, just trust in God.

That was some of the best marketing ive seen in a while, perfectly fits his audience, it stands out and is memorable.

Hes going to ride that bull strait into office.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

I gotta agree, that was excellent marketing. No substance behind that, though.

We all get this way (doomsday lens.) Heck, I feel this way about myself today.

That said, everything is "perfect" because everything can't be any other way than it is right now. Example: Donald Trump is perfectly Donald Trump. That doesn't mean Donald Trump is perfect. It means he can't be any other way, because then, he wouldn't be the Donald Trump we know. He would be some other guy.

To pull this in with the Texas political ad, Texas can't be any other way than it is right now, as the general populaces' frames and personal biases determine it. That allows a fraudster from New Jersey to pose as a Texan so he can win an election since he can't even win elections where he's based right now (Nevada.) If he wins, Texans deserve what they get -- because from the way they see the world, he's the best they deserve.

That said, I feel you. The way the world is right now is frustrating as hell.

I find this difficult to swallow. Do you have something I can look into other than the massive amount of documentaries and articles that are out there? When I consume research on systems thinking, environmental science etc it suggest that the world will not be a livable place in 100 years and that.

It's not a matter of me showing you some research paper. It's a matter of you using some big picture thinking.

A 2 degree rise in climate is not the end of anything. The Earth has been much hotter than that before and life goes on.

Environmental people are too close to the problem to see it in the grand scheme of things. They are stuck in a sort of mid-term thinking which leads to depression. You gotta take longer view. In the long view mankind will terraform the Earth to the perfect temperature.

Listening to scientists without doing your own big picture thinking about their data is the trap here. Scientists are not big picture thinkers. They just robotically spew out data without any consideration of mankind's evolution.

This is not to say we should not take action of climate change and polution. We should. And we are. But it's gonna take time, so be patient. You can't turn an oil tanker on a dime.

Haha, that was more or less my first thought on this as well! Hilarious stuff. One of my takeaways from the Trump presidency was that if he could win and occupy the highest political office in the land then the flood gates are basically open for any clown to do the same at any level of government. How many of these guys are we going to see I wonder? The Republican party is both divided and doomed imo, yet some weakened semblance of it will survive. When shooting one's self in the foot there is none but the self to blame.

Lol, farm animals are a lot tougher than that. That horse could kill him if it wanted to easily, and Its head being pulled for a photo is the least of its worries.

It would be the end of thousands of species and some ecosystems.
